Patch note 1.01

  • Fixed an issue where completing the “Strength of the Earth” quest prevents the player from obtaining the “Fading Lights” and “Azure Tears” quests.

This fix did not help players that completed the quest before patch 1.01 .We are plenty of people bugged

Came here because I’m dealing with the same issue. Not sure if I completed the quest already, but I don’t have the quest “Survivalist: Fading Lights.” Currently lvl 55 with tier 4 camp as well.

I’m almost positive that I finished “Fading Lights”, but only received a chest, no T5 camp. I’ve been level 60 for a few days and cannot find any way to get the quest again and still have a T4 camp.

@Developer Any status about it? what can we do?
Almost 1 month since this topic start… more than 1 month since we got stucked on this quest…

I’ve complete Edengrove t5 camp quest before issue was fixed so I still have t4 camp.

Please help because the new end game content is built on it. Unable to craft gypsum without it.

  • Topaz Gypsum – found on hostile creatures Level 55+, but only after consuming a special Attunement Potion that can be crafted at a Tier 5 Camp. Craft the potion, drink it, and start defeating Level 55+ hostile creatures anywhere in the world to find them. This potion can only be crafted once per week!

I think that I have also finish he Edengrove t5 camp quest before the issue was fixed so I still have t4 camp. I cannot make gypsum topaz drink to receive gypsum topaz. Please provide a fast support, the issue is huge.

I just finished watching the video the New World Developers released, and I wanted to make sure that the error resulting from this prior bug had the attention it deserved. According to the criteria they listed:

  1. Length of time: since the game was released (the bug was fixed, but those of us who completed the questline earlier, the follow quests are still unavailable)
  2. Affecting end game progression, the ability to make an attunement potion at the T5 camp and get Topaz Gypsum. I like the expertise system, but this puts us at a significant disadvantage to other players.

If this is not at the top end of their list, can you please reiterate the above. Thank you.

(TLDR: the devs fixed a bug that prevented the continuation of a questline in Edensgrove which had the T5 camp, those of us who completed that last part of the quest before the bug fix have never been able to finish the subsequent questline)

I’m also lev 60 and done the Quest Fading lights but no T5 can, i’m also stuck on T4 camp… My ign is Meta Knight. when will this issue be addressed ?

I cannot get the T5 camp quest Fading Lights from Derick Wardel. I am level 60, I have T4 camp, bla bla bla. I can’t craft the winter potion either … it seems that bug have been reported several hundred years ago, bla bla bla.

Anyway your game is a good game to get any kind of frustation every day that I play (not so often now I must say), if that was the goal, you shoot right in the center of the target and be prepared to have enormous endyear bonuses ! See you in two year at the end of this alpha state !

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I cannot get a T5 Camp, nor can I advance the Edengrove quest chain, nor craft that winter potion (that should be crafting in an Arcana shop by the way and not in a camp … wonderful idea you had !!!)

Just FYI. I had this bug, then I looked for prior Survivalist quests and realized I never did the one in Monarch’s Bluff. I did that quest and all of a sudden I could do T5 camps rather than just T4.
