So no point in even playing till they get fixed to get kicked out mid events

yeah, it is probably better to not do expedition while they are working on it and just do gathering, OPR as getting kicked from OPR or while gathering a node is not as bad as losing an orb.
They’ve just taken Asgard down with no warning or notice in the middle of an invasion, it’s already hard enough to sign up for invasions as it is with the amount of bugs around that but finally get in to an invasion and they decide to shut the server down nearly 20mins in to the invasion, they have no concept at all about peoples play times.
what about all the people on the server right now who have used dungeon keys at this moment in time, all AGS do is constantly make bad decision after bad decision, they cant fix the basics of the damn game and they find any reason they can to annoy the player base while hiding behind a smoke screen of 0 communication except from the occasion “thank you for your patience” post which is mostly irrelevant updates, they never give the community any information about what is actually happening or what they are working on, they really need to look at companies like Blizzard who have their own set of problems but at least they know how to perform maintenance and updates without being complete boneheads about it.

I’d say more than looking at Blizzard, look at square enix with FF14 and Yoshida. That’s a polished game.
And not just once… but multiple times in one evening.
Looks like AGS is trying REAL hard to drive away the small last group of people who are still left to play this game.
they really need to look at a way of compensating people in game for all of this that we’ve had to endure, we’re getting screwed on a daily basis and it’s ruining a lot of peoples off time as I know i’m not the only one on this forum who has said they want to be able to play after work (oh no the servers are down at peak times) or play on a weekend (oh no the servers are down on a sunday evening)…what an idiotic thing to do, ruin the players free time on a weekend on the evening before returning to regular working hours by performing maintenance…on another post I wrote somebody joked about Indian programmers would be better, I honestly think they need a support programming team in India or somewhere who can work during non peak times for EU and US so that this sort of shit doesn’t happen, it’ll be a damn sight cheaper and these teams will work to any time schedule you want them to and their output quality is just the same.

Also, someone said it wasn’t a maintenence, was server stability, but on their official server status they have it on “maintenence” and it wasn’t just my server, was like 90% of EU servers so they know exactly what they doing, don’t think it was a unplanned outage.
Blizzard had a server issue a month ago, they advertised that they were going to perform a maintenance and log in would be unavailable from x-y time. However, they made it so that every player logged in could stay logged in while they updated as it was a non scheduled update. like I know you cant do this with every type of update but at least they know how to provide information to the community, let them know what update is happening, let them know how long it is going to take and set everybody’s expectations…AGS dont set any expectations because they just yeet the servers off in the dark like they are the crazy boss guy from freaking Free Guy (2021 film).
This downtime was announced. You just didn’t check the forums. I like they are taking the servers down for stuff…It shows they are fixing things and not just trying to fix it while the game is running. Want a better game the servers gotta go down for patches mate.

It isn’t pebkac man, that was a planned downtime for US West with 2 hours durations. My server in EU went down for 10 minutes with no announcment, plain simple.
