Is that your expierence for the most part or are those select clips and you are getting rolled by range most of the time?
Those clips look fine. I guess people have to be willing to fight you instead of run away.
It really depends on the time of day.
the later, the less organized groups are in the OPR. then the ranged dominate and the experience is horrible, with totally unbalanced scores between the teams (1000 x 200).
However, at times when the server is more populated, I usually have these experiences with good OPR.
but even in times when there are many archers and mages, I don’t have much problem against them, with this build.
what usually happens is that they run super fast infinitely and I can’t catch up kkkkkk.
Which I think is fine if you want to play heavy.
So maybe heavy melee is fine.
in a general context, small-scale pvp, yes it is (1v1 1v2 1v3).
I think the problems appear when the pvp scale increases, dodging damage becomes absurdly more relevant than mitigating damage. the exception to this is war, but because players are “forced” to stay at certain points.
but I have to be fair here, a good part of my mitigation comes from the fact that I use shield and not exactly from the fortify (it was much less strong than before).
