I would like to start discussion about tanks in war and how to “counter” them. After a few weeks of game release, we have been in many wars and the hardest enemy setup was like 30 tanks with full gear at max level. There was no chance, how to push as attackers points to conquer, because it was just ultra wall from enemies tanks… Rotation system with Haste pots is incredible, because everyone can just pop pot and run like a wind (slower heavy geared tanks can than way easily run as fast as light gear users “mages”)…
Do you have any idea or recommendations how to beat them and win war with that amount of tanks.? Is there any counter setup (weapons) which can dominate over tanks?
There’s this thing called “nuking”, which becomes more effective if you have everyone blow their AoEs/damage on a concentrated area at the same time.
It’s how we’ve won wars when attacking on my server (Heliopolis) and how you counter “unkillable” tanks (hint, they aren’t unkillable, you just aren’t cutting off their healers and taking advantage of that window of healing downtime to nuke them).
Also if they have 30 tanks (and say, 10-15 healers), that means they don’t have as much damage. If you bring 10-15 tanks, 10-15 healers and 30-40 damage dealers (especially Fire/Ice Mages and Bow/Musketeers), chances are you will eventually break through because they won’t have damage of their own to push back your own tanks.
Mind you the numbers aren’t arbitrary and can vary but it all boils down to team composition, communication and organization.
