This is such a good change that they are scaling the dungeons up. This create a bill for players to climb else end game becomes boring when you are at the peak with no more challenges.
Nothing wrong with it except that easy mode was removed
I don’t think they hit harder, they do the same damage and some mob type (soldiers) do hit harder than others. You need to bring a good comp now, i.e. you probably don’t want to bring your buddy with a bow and rapier.
The fact that there’s a lot more players now with 625 gear but achieve it by buying shards instead of grinding it the hard way is also making it difficult to pick up a good player just by looking at their gears.
It’s not harder, the only thing changed was caretaker and tbh that boss fight have a lot of bugs, for example if u over dps him before first circle the mobs won’t spawn at time and they will spawn together in 1 sec thats first bug, second bug is when boss can throw death wave at first circle and kill tank if he don’t see it coming (like it shouldn’t but here we go) thats second bug,and since they fixed body block and other cheese most dps guys don’t even know how they should nuke mobs and even nuke boss at second circle cuz of their shity weapons and armors and definitely wrong abilities, thats why you feel its harder than before and you only feel it on caretaker not other parts of dungeon
Most people who never tanked before do not know the part on the wave at caretaker killing tank with the 3 hit combo in the first circle. As usual people who die a lot like to find excuses and put the blame on everyone else.
Thanks for the responses… I’ve invested heavily in warded gear (using the new tempest gear set that you can craft). Good lord… I probably spent no less than 200k to roll 3 decent pieces with Angry ward. Seems to help a bit. The death wave in first circle is just crazy… and the flies… (btw you can’t sell any of the new tempest crafted gear, they’re all BOP… sigh).
Oof, I always recommend just buying pieces you find on the market. Probably would have been 5k for passable pieces. Really you only need angry earth ward, everything else is not really all that important.
A free option would be to consider farming the harbinger heavy set that is essentially BIS for free. Below is one of the pieces.
Finally you can gather a decent two perk set with angry earth ward from the monocleus arena as well.
Genesis Mut definitely feels like it was tuned up. I run with a premade 5 man that I’ve been playing with for years and we run dungeons on a nightly basis. Know all the mechanics, run all the right gems + ward gear ect. But just tonight after not playing since Tuesday all 5 of us felt a huge difference in Gen. The mobs are hitting much harder and the boss mechanics feel a little more varied.

Yea the Caretaker is harder than Cilla now. And I’d say even harder than her boyfriend in the new dungeon.
You feel that genesis is much harder than Lazarus now cause we do not have a chance to clear Lazarus post patch in mutation yet. I am sure that they will tune it up to match the other dungeons. That is good, cause it create a skill and gear set differentiate that players now need to climb. Else end game activities are just too easy. I cleared 5 times Genesis yesterday with a random group of people and got 4 gold. So it is still quite do-able but not easy enough for you to just cheese it.
I’ve done several more. Its pretty much the same. Just like any other M10, sometimes you get 1 or 2 that are not ready to do a M10, or someone thinks its a good idea to run with 50 con in a group of randoms.
lol. i’ve grouped up with people who are all in their light “war gear”. They die 2 minutes in, and blame it all on me. They said they’re on 50 con glass canon build.
There’s no problem running Low con in mutated dungeon. Please do not stereotype. A Low con player can know how to carry himself and not die. Same way a 300 con can be a burden and keep dieing. Having more room for error with higher con is a bonus but does not always make you a better player.
With that said, the worst kind of pple are those who blame others for failure in the dungeons. If they are that great then give advice and carry the group.
If they keep dieing then reflect on what did they die, not accuse others of failure. It’s their choice to join the group, face some responsibility.
Play sns and hatchet as tank in genesis m10 and you life will be way easier

I agree! Good change though once you get used to it. Hardest part is the DPS check after first ring.
I’ve been doing a ton of rescue missions as healers and it seems that it got more difficult because people that used to do it without the cheese seem to be getting stuck. I think the wave definitely became much more difficult for the tank in the center and it just feels like the DPS is lacking, so perhaps he was scaled a tiny bit to make it more difficult to two phase him? Also the mobs around the outside seem to be more difficult to kill.
My sample is skewed because I’m purposely running with people that get stuck but most of them saying they were not struggling this hard before.
I actually like the increased difficulty, think it’s kinda boring when people only run Laz because they are farming shards as efficiently as possible. Was so hard to get tempest runs it felt even though it was just released!
