I personally hope they release Fresh Start PvE AND PvP servers. I’d love to have a character on both.

and allow is multiple chars on 1 server.

No it’s not. New fresh start servers will be for “new/returning players” that’s their target not your alt chars. If you desperately want to play in a fresh server then basicly delete one of your toons. Otherwise stay in your main servers.

Still meaningless for people who have no character slots to play. Deleting a toon to play fresh server doesn’t change tthe reality that 2 characters per region needs to change through granting an additional slot or providing additional slots via the in game shop.
Man that sounds nice. I really miss Open World PvP in games. Like Warhammer Online and WoW PvP servers

Absolute cancer in vanilla WoW. You spent more time corpse running than you did actually progressing your character once you hit STV and up. Was miserable for ppl who wanted to get on and level their characters for an hour or 2 before bed.

Starting fresh server will always came back to the same point were some compagny will dominate over other / gold duppy / bots etc … nothing will change . fresh server should be ONLY to give;
1 -Any player to start from scratch like lvl again/explore the world etc… such as when the game release.
2-Allow new players to be able to play since the “actual” server are full or have queue
That should be the only reason and of course allow the players to CHOOSE , if the plan of fresh new server is to introduce new stuff but player needed to start from zero that its suptid as hell. You prettty say to any players who idk spend already 2k hours since the lauch of the game sorry but start all over like come on that dump
Some people may wish to start all over sure I can understand that but in any way that should not affect the majority of player it should be a “CHOOSE” because if you do that you pretty dig your own game again.
I already told before the game need PVP server only or pvp rotation of region where the option of PVP is not available like you leave town you are flag. i’m just going to speculate but in case that new fresh server is for pvp only allow player to transfer the actual account into that server but when it reach the population cap it lock because if the plan is to player to start from zero that extremely dumb because many many many player doesn’t want to start all over
lol STV was my hunting grounds. I had a much different experience. but Why were you leveling up on a PvP server if you were prey?
I actually hope they wait a week or two after the release of Brimstone. There will very likely be major exploits, dupes, and bugs. At least if they wait a week or two, the larger ones will hopefully be patched before the release of the fresh severs. And yes, there should be some PvP servers as well.
I was a druid so had almost no issues in STV with the exception of Rogues who thought they were good but would wait until you were half health fighting 2 mobs before they would engage. I am all for a PvP only server being made but not until NW leaves the EA/beta state it has been in for a year. Once the game has a solid player base and footing, have at it with PvP servers.

People are completely blind that this won’t solve the current relevant issues with the game as the big wealth disparity between governing company owners and normal players.
Fresh Servers won’t make a difference and the people will complain that some are ‘cheating’ because they level to 60 in two days + know the best way to farm fast good gear. Those server will come very unbalanced at the beginning, especially all types of game modes as Arena or OPR.

Well at least now we know that every time players quit for months and another major update comes out, we can just ask for start servers to play for a while then quit until it’s time to ask for another round of fresh start servers.

They mentioned in the last dev video that first they will fix this issue where the people that own everfall and windsward had too much gold for them. Im sure the new fresh servers will come with the update and the update will contain this fixed
In the video they stated that they want to change the ownership issue in the future but had no timeline so I doubt they will have the changes in place before BSS. Also the way it sounded in the video, it will be more of a band aid than a fix.
Until at least some of the territory ownership revenues flow down to the entire owning faction or town home owners, it will still be a huge wealth disparity. The only other option is for AGS, to only allow revenue gained from taxes to only be used for certain items (upkeep, wars, defense, etc).
