thought i’d post a couple of tips for people to help out and be prepared for the new dungeon. most of the dungeon mobs have been seen before in invasions and other expeditions so won’t really go into that.
Neishatun:
try to have atleast 1 good range to damage cores when they are up and in an AOE
in the second round of circle AOE look for where the mobs spawn. the AOE doesn’t spawn where the mobs do, those are your safe zones.
don’t stand behind the tank because of his body slam
cores are the top priority over boss.
if you have a rune symbol above your head the boss is either going to power shot or rapid fire you. power shot will hit anyone in line with the person being shot and leave a line of corrupted pools for some time. rapid fire is exactly that, a fast burst of arrows.
save movement speed increases for circle phases where possible.
don’t stand near the edge the tail whip has a large knockback.
Isabella:
red pools are DEATH. don’t stand or run through this at all.
boss places a dot on ranged normally that can be completely negated by using a corrupted tincture and incense a powerful tincture should last the whole fight (use only when you have the dot) your healer will thank you.
for her swooping phase try to spread out atleast 10m apart to reduce getting multiple people hit. it does have a knock back so don’t stand too close to the red pools. dodge once towards her if you have been targeted with rune symbol then once backwards as she comes back through.
hate to state the obvious but standing next to the tank is a horrible idea this goes for any boss but I see this far too often.
though dps is great for getting bosses down positioning is key for this boss.
when she spawns corrupted shrines wait a little bit until the red AOE is gone then disable it. the AOE does less dmg than the red pools so if you are a little stuck when she starts to spawn it run through it not the red pools. there are meteor showers around the shrine that do 4k+ on heavy armor so please dodge the circles while disabling the towers. after she spawns the towers she most often does her power dive so try stay a little bit away from the tank even if your melee.
despite most of the dmg looking like fire damage in this expedition it is in fact void dmg so amethysts work best in armors.
if you have any please add in the comments. throw this thread in your discords if you find it helpful.
if your ranged normally spread out on the large circle points of the arena with a max of 2 per cirlcle. melee just stay behind the boss tank should face boss away from the centre of the 3 circular areas which is where you should fight. fighting the boss on the narrower runways will likely see you knocked back into the red pools.
Best tip is you can completely glitch Neishatun and not have to fight him. Go prone on the rock on the side, he comes over, glitches out, then you kill him for free.
yea this is well know bug that I won’t push people to do since it is likely to be patched out and could have consequences if people do use it. if that’s your cup of tea then go for it but im trying to have some tips for people to do things as intended.
I had t3 corruption tincture and it didn’t completely remove the debuff. Does it need to be t5 only? What do you mean by “incense a powerful tincture”?
think your right there circles are fire dmg. really hard to tell since there is no symbol for each dmg type. for instance the dot from isabella looks like fire icon but is corruption.
i wonder if they’ll nerf a bit the bosses (specially the second) i’m wearing medium armor and around 580 gs (so over the top end of what’s required) and kept getting oneshotted by some of the skills, even when moving (maybe bad luck too)
how many people around the actual 550 to 570 gs have done it without issues?
i’m both, spear/bow. but i was meleeing since i think it does more damage.
also, one time i didnt even see the tag on my head, so maybe it wasn’ even for me and i just crossed the path that went for a team mate.
