Will players who have already completed this questline be given the option to repeat it, or will they be given the rewards caches again with the correct gear score? I’m sure lots of people opened them, then saw the GS and salvaged them.

When they fixed the Dynasty mutation drops, my items in storage were changed. but this solution leaves players who have already salvaged the items out in the cold.
So only possible fix is to reset quest and offer again. If they do this it provides a nice reward for those players who have already completed the cache cycle (after 4 or 5 runs, I can’t remember) and are now rewarded gypsum orbs to be able to be rewarded another few dungeon orbs.

I opened all mine but didn’t salvage but the description on patch never says anything about what happens with those who opened them or salvaged them already, hope they make good once fixed.

I hope its retroactive. I accidentally opened mine while opening AP chests 
I did save the stuff and put into storage though.

I got reward items from 4 or 5 chests in a row. then stopped getting them. Salvaged them all, if they dont let us get reward one more time after fix then its not really a fix…

Looks like existing gear stayed the same. Any saved chests will now show appropriate gear score when you open them. No reset on the quests. Really hope they do something with that. Lost out on the first 3 sets because of this bug.

I did 2 runs…both times i got no items or shards, only got a gypsum orb…pathetic waste of time

Yes! Please AGS either reset the quest line or reset the salvaged chests in our inventory! This happened to many players, especially the ones playying daily, the ones who are to be consideresd your most faithful clients.

An agent on live chat told me this morning items that were salvaged will not be replaced.

That’s lame, but while you had someone, did you possibly inquire about what will happen with items that were not salvaged?

I didn’t I’m afraid, I only had my salvaged sets in mind.
Edit; Seems this has been answered, no items are as intended now.

I held on to my set, the tempestuous str heavy set. it’s still 500-510 
Non-salvaged items have retained the gear score they were when the chest was originally opened. Nothing saying AGS can’t change that, but they didn’t do anything with this patch.
Also, loot in the Tempest Heart still feels underwhelming. I got not drops from a lot of the mini bosses. And got an Infused Regen and Infused Mana Potion from Neishatun. Not all runs are terrible like that, but enough of them are that I doubt I’ll run much more. I really want the Raider’s Hat, but I might just have to wait until it goes mutated to improve my odds.

So they give out one time rewards, rewards are bugged for a week, and they have no intention of doing right by their customers? Unacceptable.

@Luxendra reset the questline for all, this is the only reason, it was not the mistake of the player it was the mistake of ags and you should not punish players for this !
