An agent on live chat told me this morning items that were salvaged will not be replaced.

That’s lame, but while you had someone, did you possibly inquire about what will happen with items that were not salvaged?

I didn’t I’m afraid, I only had my salvaged sets in mind. 
Edit; Seems this has been answered, no items are as intended now.

I held on to my set, the tempestuous str heavy set. it’s still 500-510 
Non-salvaged items have retained the gear score they were when the chest was originally opened. Nothing saying AGS can’t change that, but they didn’t do anything with this patch.
Also, loot in the Tempest Heart still feels underwhelming. I got not drops from a lot of the mini bosses. And got an Infused Regen and Infused Mana Potion from Neishatun. Not all runs are terrible like that, but enough of them are that I doubt I’ll run much more. I really want the Raider’s Hat, but I might just have to wait until it goes mutated to improve my odds.

So they give out one time rewards, rewards are bugged for a week, and they have no intention of doing right by their customers? Unacceptable.

@Luxendra reset the questline for all, this is the only reason, it was not the mistake of the player it was the mistake of ags and you should not punish players for this !

The Mara quests that give the box and a gypsum are repeatable… Just keep doing them and you’ll get the boxes again.
nope it only gives a cache which has a gypsum orb or some shards only.

So, should I be penalized for doing the quest first?
Is it the fault of the user who completed the quest quickly?
There’s a big gap between what I’m aware of and common sense.

No it doesnt. It only gives each box type once. Otherwise this wouldnt be a big deal.
Only one Gypsum Orb appears.

yep i can confirm, i have all sets right from the get go, opened the chests after the “fix” and got 1 Gypsum out of one and 261 Umbral Shards from the next one and all my sets are still 500-510 GS.
@Luxendra please give us information about fixing this problem i bet 70% of players lost their sets because they opened it at first day now they don’t have any sets with correct gs and it’s not fair…

this is actually kinda ridiculous… you as the game developer present us some (unfinished) loot - which we obviously open…because, well - that’s what it is for and who could expect the chests to be fucked up again… i mean next to fucked up elite chests, fucked up smelting chests and some other fucked up chests, we didnt really had problems with that xD
and afterwards you aren’t even giving people the respective loot back. LMAO. So it is the players fault now to open chests to early? Always be prepared that AGS fucked smth up and wait 3 months until opening loot? noice
