Terrirory push proposal

I like the overall idea in video New World: Forged in Aeternum - Territory Game - YouTube

While having a time window to attack/defent I want to share the following idea.
You can make fort as hotspot during certain time window and for the attacking faction after capping the fort people who stand on fort point do generate influence.
The generated influence gets pushed to the company influence for each individual player standing on point.

After 100% reached which company made most influence can declare a war.
I don’t think there is a need to have different points across the map(around forts) to cap. Instead players can have big scale open world pvp by attacking/defending the fort.
We will also get rid of pvp quests.

What do you think?
What are the cons and pros for this idea? Please share your experience/ideas as well.

The main problem with this is that only 50 players (i believe its 50)are allowed inside a fort in the open world at one time. Anybody attempting to enter afterwards is teleported back to town after a 10 second countdown if they dont exit the area.

This single limitation has been a very large part of the mass exodus of players leaving.

I think they can split the current limit inside fort between factions, e.g. 30 players(6 groups) from each faction can be in fort at the same time.
The rest can fight around the fort or go to the backlines.

Seriously? Most people dont even know about this limitation so idk how people are leaving the game because of it but ok :joy:
