Bro, even 1 player playing from net cafe, you cant ban him cuz an another idiot used dupe exploits in the same net cafe. The number of players doesnt matter. I am telling this again. Even 1 player playing legit form net cafe, no one can ban his account.

No bro, you are wrong. I know that you are using the logic, but when we have a ban dilemma, we must have all the possible scenarios on the table. Maybe I would take benefits from my brotherās dupes, maybe not.

Can we have some numbers on this wave of bans? How many (maybe categorized by server), and if the same accounts are also involved in botting activities?
You guys need to disable trading post also. Thereās people currently abusing the exploit and buying mats off the trading post to do it and most likely going to try to profit from it in the trading post.

Or I see bot and nibody ban him people used to call everyone bot, or blame bots for that there are no resources yea sure on 2500 players you are the only one who collect resources, if 10 ppl are gathering you will have problem to find anything due to same routes xd Solution for this is random respawn spots for motes, nodes etc.
Conversely, if AGS had warned people not to do it and not disabled trading, the forum would likely be full of people who knowingly exploited the flaw, appealing their bans and saying they didnāt know. Itās painful, but stopping the bleeding like this is the smartest thing they can do.

It is. As long as they put a pop up on every login stating some vague fact about the duping and then banned anyone caught doing it, without exception, then we can decide not to care about idiots telling us they did not know. Leave trading open. Ban every person exploiting the dupe.
If I had to guess, this would be the case. Trading is either part of the exploit or enables those who exploit to get away with it in some way that the TP doesnt. Personally I feel its the former, not the latter, or else they would have probably disabled ALL forms of trading, even the TP.
I applaud the quick response, and a few days of inconvenience is worth knowing the game is secure from dupe exploits.
I know we can complain about literally everything on this forum and we love you all for that. But definitely deserves a round of applause. If this is a sign of things to come, this is a really good sign.
Yeah bugs happen but notice how infrequent they are and most importantly the response. Remember that applies in life as well. Itās not that people make mistakes, itās what they do in response to them that matters.

Who will buy the prime? The only reason Jeff Bezos invested money into gaming industry is to get more prime subscribers/members. With perma baning them (which I agree) is bad for their PR and to their other services they provide. I like the firm stance with more transperancy. Sadly wont happen.
