Thank you for listening amazon!

OK… I guess that´s personal… I´ve been playing games for 30 years and last hit getting the kill like Lineage, WoW, Mobas, FPS, etc. has always been the most fair to me.

how many games of OPR have you tried in the PTR?

all of them…

Lmao. Do you use melee?

Bow/Rapier or Bow/Spear…

and technically this was exactly the same as before… Whoever got the final blow got the kill. They literally changed nothing in that aspect.

makes sense. Its super easy for you to get that last hit in.

both those have very quick attacks so you can easily get the last hit in.

Not really… I guess you never played bow…
Once I kill a player, my next hit is slower than every other weapon (maybe exept for musket… but musket dont hit… just wait the steal kills).
There are OPRs that I count 15 to 20 kills, but I only get 2 or 3…

I was talking about the rapier/ spear. both those have very quick attacks

i could do 90% of the damage and you could come in with a quick poke of that spear and steal my kill

still… who gets the most kills are hammer and great axe, with AOE attacks after the enemy is down…

Dude… Just think…
If you do damage and don´t kill… you get the damage points and the assist…
If I kill and don´t do damage, I get the kill and not the damage points…
That´s how it is…

Well do you think that will change now? Now it will be easier for AOE to steal kills…

Yes, I´m sure it will change… and if they still get the kills, it´s becuz they are getting the kills… it´s ok… it´s way different than tapping the guy I knocked down.

In pretty much any game where dmg dealt doesn’t get the kill. It devolves into wait, and attempt to last hit. It’s actually funny watching someone outnumbered not get hit, because everyone is waiting to attempt a last hit.

Not many people understand this… Without motivation to do as much damage to the person, why would you not wait until they’re almost dead to steal the kill? who cares about damage points. You can’t see that on the leaderboards. But you can see kills. Any person with a brain would realize they can get kills with less effort, and abuse this constantly.

The only way to make this fair without kill stealing, is to give the kill to the person with the most damage.

I can’t remember the game, but they solved it in an unconventional way by giving everyone who did dmg credit for the kill/assists, and the thing became explaining to new players why kill/assist counts were so much higher than total of kills in a match.

That is Destiny 2

Na it’s another game also I legit never bothered with destiny.
