Also I swear to god I will rage if they patch this shield bug tonight and the shield attributes go back to not counting when we have our secondary weapon out.
It was inexcusable that this issue lasted in the game as long as it did and then when they fixed it they completely messed it up.
Bruisers are way too effective compared to tanks. There is no reason whatsoever to play a tank currently, because bruisers do the same while also being effective elsewhere.
Fortify is hella easy to come by as well, almost everyone in a group has nearly permanent fortify upkeep.
If they reworked taunt to have a PVP addition that puts an area of affect around your tank, inside of which only players were getting rend applied, that would make people attack him pretty quickly.
They could show the area of affect of the taunt in PVE using the same circle and have it stay up for the duration of the taunt, but any enemy player standing inside of it would get a debuff until the circle went away.
This way you could more easily and visibly gauge if mobs are inside your taunt distance in PVE tanking and without changing a thing you could go play PVP and get players to attack you or pay the price.
Yea and it would make sense since tank shoul be in first place. So aura 2.5-5m around applying debuff would give result devs trying to get - no more big masses of bruisers spaming left click siting on top of healing and using no brain.
you just need to swap the perk for 200 and 250 con. I am already going through lvl 10 mutations with hatchet and wh, shild (heavy) is usless in pvp… RIP Tanks
This perk from 200 cos is not the issue at all. The problem gonna be if a tank accidently will do a dodge, then he may be screwed up. I would like to see stamina of blocking and dodge separated.
200 con talent is being used by dps to become pretty much as tanky as a tank while not having to fully invest in being a tank. Imo they should have switched the 300 and 200 con attribute bonuses and buffed the armor bonus from 20% to 30%.

This is a common experience when you PVE tank in a pub dungeon with randoms.
It’s very hard to get people to not all pile on DPS before you can actually pull the mobs.
There’s always at least one guy (sometimes even the healer) who proceeds to plink mobs they cant deal with and then get surrounded while you’re burning taunts trying to undo their failure to play as a team.
If people would let the tank intentionally pull the mobs to where he wants them and then get the taunt off, it would be a totally different experience. In mutations it’s much more essential to correctly position the mobs so you can control each encounter and insure nobody dies.
People being impatient and trying to go fast, makes sure the run goes slow and doesnt get gold.
Thank you I thought I was crazy or shitty lol. Everyone blames the tank for every little mess up. If it is indeed tank’s fault, then it should be said. But damn people just blame tanks these days.
Was doing M10 Genesis 7 or 8 times in the past 3 days. It has gotten a lot harder, the pressure for me as a tank especially at the caretaker first boss has increased exponentially. People expect me to go in the ring with no sacred or heals, dodge the black water, kill the mushroom, somehow survive and with ads all over me. Then they blame me lol for “losing aggro”.
