Invasions are meant to be unavoidable. That is by design.
Agree on the other points though

The game is so fresh. Patience, all will be fixed soon or later.
You shouldn’t be able to avoid invasions… Without them, every town will have T5 everything and nothing will ever change. People will just stay in the same town all the time.
I disagree completely!
I have been playing MMO’s for many years, and have played nearly every major and minor MMO release, and I can say with absolute confidence that I have NEVER seen an MMO with so many bugs.
At this point, it is clear to me that the devs are either completely apathetic to the issues in the game, or they are incompetent in fixing those issues. Whichever the case, I do not share your positive outlook on the bugs being fixed nor the future of this game for that matter.
Amazon has released a very broken game and thus far have done very very little about fixing it.
Clearly you didn´t play FFXIV at launch… it looked like first stages of alpha and everything sucked, so they had to remake the entire game. New World is having the smoothest launch i´ve ever seen in a mmorpg. Mmo launches are always convoluted and this is why you shouldn´t be rushing to endgame now. Be patient and wait a few months.
Invasions are okay to stay unavoidable. Also it’s another content where people will have to grind for better gears and coordinate for them not lose in invasions. On our server we haven’t won in a single invasion as of yet but it’s okay it makes us want to grind more for better gears and think ways how we can defeat it. Best we got is 6/8 waves.
I think you can lower the difficulty of the invasions by running those portals.
the actual endgame doesnt work so grinding for endgame gear isnt very fun, we cannot close t5 portals as of now meaning materials for dungeons cannot be optained
This. So many people seem to completely overlook this fact.
Every game will have it’s problems in the begging and what would help the devs is people report those bugs so they can fix it.
Why is it that people who proceed to write nonsense, always start with this line?
You weren’t around for the first WoW launch. The reason I know this is because you would have remembered what a shitshow that was.
LOL because they want to prove their logic even though it’s not as valid. It’s like getting a doctors online degree from India.
Seriously ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY. But my answer is if you don’t like the game for what ever reason then girl bye!

I was there for WoW launch, and either you were not, or you have forgotten, or you are simply lying.
By the way, the significant issue with the launch of WoW was server stability issues. Server crashes, constant restarts, and rollbacks were the major issues. Yes, WoW had bugs at launch, but as I clearly stated in my post, New World has FAR SURPASSED the bug issues in WoW.
All MMO’s have bugs at launch, but New World has set a new low for both game-breaking bugs as well as the non game-breaking yet annoying bugs that should be easy fixes for a dev team that did not suffer from apathy and/or incompetence. Many of these bugs have been around since Beta, or even Alpha!
It is obvious AGS pushed this game out to hit a deadline and garbage code is the result.
Let me just remind everyone here
I’m lvl 60 and i have the factions points cap of a lvl 40 so I can’t buy most of the pvp gear
I can’t buy pvp gear in a pvp game and it’s been a known issue for 2 weeks. I CANNOT BUY PVP GEAR IN A PVP GAME…
The only bugs I’ve notice are the speed boost and encumbered bugs, which I am perfectly happy with them not patching.
Even if you think the WoW launch was worse. You are comparing an 18-year-old MMO with a new one. You are comparing an MMO that was literally started by a small team with an Amazon started MMO with TRILLIONS of dollars. It might be their first game, but their funding is not comparable, the team is not comparable like nothing should allow you to compare a launch of a game 20 years ago with today’s standards. This is an unfinished game and that’s a fact, and because of people like you, studios get away with trash like this all the time.
Don’t see any big deal here and have to be “ASAP”
there r more thing need to be focus on
“People like me”?
Mate, I’ve already acknowledged that the game requires a lot of work. But to suggest that it’s the first MMO to have serious (borderline game-breaking issues), is a flat out lie.
AoC for example was an absolute trash-tier game and the only thing going for it was the decades of lore behind it. The combat system alone was truly f***ing dreadful.
Please quote the post that “implies” anything of the sort. You are trying to spin and backpedal because you wrote something inaccurate and dumb. It is YOU who is lying.
NOBODY is “suggesting” that New World is the first MMO with issues. It is your comment here that is the"flat out lie". In fact, I “suggested” that many MMOs have had issues and bugs, that is why I said New World was clearly the worst I have ever seen. Considering you seem to have reading comprehension issues, I will elaborate… that means I have seen many MMOs with bugs and that New World is the worst (again, of the many MMO’s with bugs).
So, stop trying to change the point or deny your own incorrect statements.
The facts: New World is littered with bugs, the worst of any major MMO release, and the garbage state of the code is making the bugs difficult to eliminate. The game was rushed to release before it was ready, and now the devs have a “spaghetti code” situation with persistent bugs. The devs are having trouble untangling the mess to even find the root cause of issues, let alone attempt more questionable code to try and fix them.
This is it. I just played the game again after 3 days break. Now the chat is not working. It takes 1 min to have your chat msg displayed. Also it will randomly take your whisper messages and post them on /help or /global. I will not play Amazon games ever again. This is too much. Thanks for nothing.
Sorry for the late reply, I was having too much fun in-game.
