The amount of incompetence is insane

AGS work and gains they had from brimstone/FS with this update is shortly lived. While the content is good(world boss etc) there are so many bugs present in this update. Let’s cover a few shall we? (some are fixed but still doesn’t distract from the fact)

  • Playing a war from defense or attack uses the other CD unless you pre-signed up for the other war.
  • Gypsum casts still broken
  • Brimstone chests can’t be looted
  • TP disabled from contract/order dupe
  • Musket nerf, damage drop off + mobility animation changes create unshootable musket when using powershot, but its only in towns
  • Patch is put out for powershot in towns… creates two exploits, machine gun & double shot
  • Musket gets fixed in patch… but new machine gun shooters stance exploit is out, will musket ever be fixed?
  • Merc limits can be ignored by kicking players until desired players are in the roster
  • Playing a war on the day you signed up for a future war removes you from that roster and you have to resign up the next day, making it a very stressful experience for company roster organizers.
  • Countless other abilities/weapons broken

Pretty shocking, especially since the update came out 10 days ago and most of them are still present in-game or had enough impact on the game to make it an un-enjoyable experience. TP being locked on Sutekh for days… from thick hide…

For every 1 new content there are 2 new bugs.

If I did the same mistakes these guys do for ONE MONTH in my job, I’d fired in no time. It must be incredible to work at AGS.

As far as I’m aware, that’s incorrect. I’ve yet to see a video where non-company members will get autofilled into the roster to bypass the mercenary limit.

Take the chance to rework the musket. …
Not applying handyplast on a fractured limb, just do a longer rework of the weapon. Remove the hitscan, add proper cool-down and beef the traps to the most toxic weapon in NW.

Agreed, I like the fact we can move and reload but it’s what created all the bugs/exploits and I could have lived without them. They should have just done the damage drop off and call it a day but they decided to change a spaghetti coded weapon and not just the numbers. :melting_face:

At this point AGS is just playing Whac-A-Mole with Bugs while we watch. Smashed one Bug, Created a new one in a different place. And their QA team is absolutely abysmal.
