Oh god, you really have no brain at all actuallyâŚ
Says the guy crying EVERY server has a queueâŚ
LMAO you are so delusional it isnât even funny. Too funny also how hard you are White Knighting.
This is a horrible launch anyone who thinks this is the best launch in mmo history has 0 clue about any mmo launches.
Oh look everyone I have my very own stalker following me around the forums calling me a white knight cause I posted all the open servers. He didnt like that cause it crushed his crusades.
This guy gets it.
I wouldnât say it is necessarily the best mmo launch in history but it is definitely a good one, and I agree that a lot of the problems in some of these servers is definitely people wanting to stalk their favorite streamers you join a high pop server and that is on you. I am definitely impressed with how playable the game is considering I have played other games on launch and after the long queue time I end up with lags and things broken everywhere, where new world I wait in queue for a while get in and I can play everything works no lag etc⌠I have had a few bugs involving crafting making me temporarily unable to craft but other than that its been great.
What a troll. The fact that you titled your post âThe best launch in MMO historyâ reveals one of two things: either
- You are very inexperienced at MMO launches and donât know what youâre talking about; or
- Youâre being deliberately provocative in order to start a flamefest.
Either way, youâre wasting bandwidth. Iâve read the entire thread and nothing youâve said contributes to your point, itâs just all contentious pushback.
Sheesh, where do these guys come from?
My que last night was 2500. In America.
yea it is ur own fault for wanting to be in teh same server as ur âfav streamerâ. what do u expect⌠to just log in with all ur fan boy friends? for what? just to âseeâ ur streamer running around⌠sad af. U might as well be on ur knees suckin a knob.
theres absolutely nothing to gain from being in the same server as these streamers⌠what, u going to follow them around? another sad excuse.
then u havent been there for the worse releases then. dont be ignorant to the fact that there actually was worse mmo releases. not OPâs fault that u havent seen them. But thanks for ur contentious pushback.
agreed. if they want to be in a high pop server to follow their fav streamers around, thats their fault. I dont see what ppl gain from following their streamer around and giving them gold etc. Just go play on a diff server ffs
This is, without a doubt, every bit as correct as its counterpart thread starter saying the exact opposite.
That said; anyone who willingly sat in some of the massive queues (15k plus in some instances) so they could joiun their favorite streamers, planned PvP server, server their buddy was on who refused to leave it, etc - once 0 queue or close to 0 queue servers were brought online has only themselves to blame.
AGS went from 200+ servers at launch to 500+ servers now. In two days. NW now has the capacity to soak up one million players - the third day of its release - and if people canât bring themselves to give up on their dream server or surrender a whopping 2 days of progress in an MMOâŚwell, color me unsympathetic at this point.
As I type this there are 516 servers. Of that 516 servers, 436 are online. Of those 296 have queues of <100. 181 of have a queues of ZERO. 261 have no wait.
Complain while parked in a queue or play, itâs up to everyone. Me, Iâm logging back in now that the severs are back form maintenance.
I direct you to this: Blizzard Struggling To Fix WoW Server Issues After Shadowlands Launch
Blizzard has had notorious problems that everyone seems to forget not long after an expansion launch. This is nothing new and at this point they had been doing this for 16 years.
There was a patch in Shadowlands that took EU servers down for a full day. Again, this is nothing new. Everyone complaining right now has either not actually played these other MMOs or forced themselves to forget all of the issues the others all had.
This launch was not perfect, none of them are. I do have to agree that aside from the queue issues (which are valid and a problem) this has been one of the smoothest launches. I have never played a launch of any MMO before this one that when I got in on launch day I was able to play the entire day without restarts, disconnects, and serious bugs.
Are you new to MMOs? Lots of games have had worse queue problems at launch.
That said lots of games have had queue times at launch. This was 100% predictable. Easy solutions include:
Donât have servers, instance everything so the player never see a server list and donât have to worry about playing with friends or not.
Have overflow servers. Camelot is full, spin up Camelot 2, 3 and 4, Prioritize Companies al being on the same instance and let people who form a group switch to the same instance.
Itâs not that these are the worst issues for a launch, they arenât terrible Iâm a long time MMO player these launch issues are minor. But they have all happened to dozens of games before and so there is no excuse to not have planned around them better. 90% of the issues I am having have been solved a half dozen ways before by other games. So I just think itâs sad that leadership didnât see a lot of this coming and plan around it.
Omg. This guy. Please stop it with blatant boot licking. Why do you feel the need to fluff AGS, dude.
Theyâre a big boi company, they donât need you to come to their defense.
Other than the queues it has been pretty perfect. Classic WoW had the same queues and still lagged terribly once you finally got in, so it was just a miserable experience all around, whereas New World is fantastic once you actually get in.
I picked one of the launch servers with lower pop and its been fine. I havenât crashed once, game runs smooth on my old potato (I did tweak settings of course). Also ping is steady and server lag is not too bad (at least compared to ESO). Prime time players have queues but I have not too bad queue or no at all when I usually log in.
Overall, its been much less disaster I expected. Game actually works when one manages to log in.
Sometimes streamers land on low pop servers and jack the population rate up and queue times. Not everybody follows streamers around. The free server moves soon should fix a lot of this.
I agree to have a problem with mobs in the game, because there are activities that do not require killing mobs - I can do PVP, craft, world exploration
