When you have 200 constitution it feels like you can bully anyone that doesn’t. It doesn’t feel fair at all.
Part of the problem are the 150 and 200 constitution perks. These powerful constitution perks (-10% crit damage and +20% armor) are too accessible. It’s relatively easy to get ~300 main damage stat and 200 constitution. Consequently, you can have good damage AND be tanky (even in light armor). There is no trade off. Players should have to choose: be a tank or do damage. Not both.
I normally play with like 14 con in OPR and war. I rarely die. Since I rarely die I put all my points into my damage stats because I can, but it doesn’t make much sense to. I do like 1.7K damage when I go full glass cannon versus 1.4K with 200 con. However, my health goes from 7.5k to 12.5k and my durability is even higher because of the aforementioned perks.
Essentially, the game is significantly easier with 200 con and my damage is still within the same ballpark as my 14 con build. It doesn’t make any sense. The damage scaling is either too low or the constitution perks/scaling are too strong.
I would consider either increasing the requirements to activate these perks like (250 and 300 con) or reducing the bonuses to like -5% crit damage and +10% armor.
Alternatively, damage/healing stats (dex, intel, str, focus) could exponentially increase damage/healing with more than 300 points invested. This option is somewhat appealing because it could lead to more build diversity such as true “glass cannons” but it could probably create some really oppressive range builds.
You may even want to consider adding a new stat called fortitude (or something). In this scenario, constitution is used only to increase your health pool, and fortitude is for all the damage mitigation perks. So if you wanted to make a tank, you would have something like 200 constitution, 200 fortitude, and 100 strength. You would be durable, but your damage would be low.
Nevertheless, the constitution attribute is not balanced, and hopefully you’ll come up with a fair solution.
