I think there are a lot of moving pieces which most people dont consider.
Its really hard to put together a guild which doesnt explode after a loss
After 1 defense loss, most guilds just disband because players are not willing to improve.
The guilds kept it because defensive wars were 10x more easy due to respawns on point and attackers didn’t know how to maneuver around it.
Meta keeps changing again and again, thats why Everfall falls from time to time. I’ve not known a lot of companies who kept their land until now when the population has saturated to a small degree. EF owners just buy or poach other good players to keep their land.

Again, like i said its not that simple. Its possible the players you were playing against were bad or testing something. If you continually do the same, then its possible your BIS item did so. Most of the time BIS items dont do game changing damage except muskets.
The item din’t make me double dmg straight it gave me at least more than 10 % and the important thing is that it make me survive way easily thus allowing me to hit more.
I was a broke boy too, but m10s can be good money makers especially since drops have been improved. I get many pieces I can sell for 5k, a decent amount 10k+, and my best drop I sold for 100k.

You just gotta know how to play the market, gather, or run m10s to sell gear drops, making gold is easy, you just gotta pay attention to what is easy and valuable to get!
Yup, that’s pretty much the gist of it. If you don’t enjoy either of those prospects. Then you other option is just play a different game. That’s not going to charge you so much to get into it’s PvP scene. There are quite a few of them on the market now.
If you “HAVE” to play OPR in New World and don’t want to grind PvE for hundreds if not thousands of hours. Your choice is clear buy RMT services. Because no amount of whining and complaining about the current systems. Is going to make these Devs budge on their vision.
So you have to adapt to that fact. You can either continue complaining in vain. Or you can buy RMT services. Or you can play something else.
It seems like they got rid of the AGS CEO who screwed everything up and now the game is getting even worse… Its very pathetic that AGS has to rely on gold sellers.
im not complaining lol, im giving the guy who is complaining about having to play the game his options. He doesnt wanna farm, he doesnt wanna do dungeons, he doesnt wanna opr, So you only want to war? the real question is why play if you cant find anything you want to do in the game.
I play because I thought it had potential. But it was too screwed up from the beginning. And it seems its going to take years for AGS to fix it because they have their eyes shut or dont give a shit.
But like I said ill be quitting until a real patch comes out.
