Bro if you have 1000+ hours and your not set and competitive yet your doing something wrong man.

Not hard to be competitive in a solid set of purples with leggo weapons at 625.

That gear is garbage, whoever says otherwise doesn’t even know where they stand…

The townpost itself isn’t a very reliable spot if you want gear. Most of it is over priced and you will spend a lot of gold obtain a full set.

You can always DIY by simply farming out the tradeskills. That simply requires patience afterwards with all the caps Capworld has to remind us devs like caps.

As for making gold, you don’t need some fancy guide, YT anything of that nature. You simply need a routine in game that suits you and works for you. I for example, primarly generate gold through completing player orders. Ignore the idiotic orders that run 0.01.

Depending on the server there are resources that fetch a fairly decent price per unit, simple orders usually start around 0.35. Anything above 2g tends to go well per unit. ASMO is the simplest fast track as it’s order cost is high on average. Keep track on flux of player order prices and you can make quite a bit of gold for yourself or your guild.

You should not sink into cheating the game with a bot.
You should not sink into buying virtual currency for real currency.
If you quit through frustration, you let the whales of the TP win your mind.

Have patience, create a routine, and win.

And to get slotted you have to have good gear and how do you get good gear?

All the parts of the game are intertwined. So yeah, the people who have the best gear are the ones who learn to make gold. Some buy gold, but I have multiple friends with maxed out BiS gear who made gold playing the market.

The people who actually took the time to learn the market aren’t always quick to give away their secrets cause it took them a lot of time to make that profit and sometimes you just don’t want to just hand it to people.

I post on the forums items I think will make a profit whenever a big patch hits. Looks for those kinds of posts and make some small investments and watch them become worth more gold. It is a fun side game in the game.

Or don’t and just stay mad I guess.

I dont want market secrets!!! This game shouldnt be about playing the market this is not what was advertised by AGS!!! I DONT WANT TO PLAY THE MARKET OR SPEND MY LIFE FISHING!!!

It was advertised as an MMO. That is what you got.

Does AGS want to have a million players? or a couple thousand who like fishing and farming iron all day??? The old idea of playing MMOs by farming all day is obviously boring af and stupid.

Then quit.

They didn’t sell you one thing and give you another.

I watched a video of a war that was the first thing that sold me on this game. And I literally cant get into a war but maybe once a week if I really try.

The trailer mentioned nothing about being forced to spend hours on the auction house and being forced to fish for cash.

False, you do not need hot spots to farm Oysters/Pearls.

I find it easier and quicker to farm locations that are not hotspots when you have good gear. And I do not have any fishing trophies to farm for pearls.

It does help but waiting for spawn points is just a waste when you do not require hotspots to fish.

Why play a game you clearly dont like?

They arent going to remove the grind.

So there’s “80 thousand guides”, but you’re afraid of giving away your super secret way of making “35-40k daily”, even though there’s “80 thousand guides”. I see you ran off when actually asked to present even ONE of these supposed 80k guides that are on youtube/twitch as an example - and as you claim.

Nice one. Classic New World community.

I had high hopes because the game has potential. Its just sad if they are taking advice from people who are stuck in old ways.

Only “true MMO players” want the grind I think. Everyone else went back to the other games that get you into the fun instantly.

So AGS will go broke because they only listened to “true MMO players”, who are a very small population

Really?

How many likes are your comments within this topic getting? Compared to those opposing your idea?

Yeah. You are in the minority here and not the voice of the MMORPG community. In fact, by your own demands, you do not want to play an MMORPG.

I have fun with the base game. I have all the trade skills 200, sans instruments cause I just havent had the time yet.

I have all but like 15 schematics in the game.

I like just running around sometimes hunting.

I think the game is what the game is and I play it for what it is.

ye and they stay there for 2 - 5 hrs until they roam to the next game.

or visit these games every few days for 1- 2hrs

Like the other 99% of people who no longer play this game?

AND THEN WHAT? YOU PLAY BY YOURSELF?

It’s always this same braindead rhetoric of; “If the game is broken, we dont want your improvements, suggestions, or feedback, to help improve the game and keep players interesting and invested in the game, keep player population at a healthy number. You should just quit and leave!”

And then everyone quits, and this guy goes and cries about the game being dead a few days later.

I do want to play an MMO I think this one is just extremely flawed and could be much better. I dont understand why you people are so convinced that a boring grind is essential to the game?
