Ok, so I’ve asked this on a couple of threads and gotten no answer from the Mods, so I decided to create an actual thread just for this topic. Not sure where to put it so I’m putting it in several areas, I have faith it will be moved/deleted from the places it doesn’t belong. Hopefully, the Community team and Mods will give an answer as the clock is ticking on this one…at least according to what they’ve told us.
On March 2 there was a Twitch stream with Charles Bradbury where, along with viewer input, a new set of armor and weapon was created. It was then said, "throughout the week of March 22, we’ll be partnering again with Twitch, …and notable New World streamers…to play New World, talk about the community designed (and now available items) and enable Twitch Drops so that everyone can easily pick these items up in-game.”
The 6 streamers named are not streaming New World and do not have it on their schedules. There is no drop listed in Twitch for the armor/weapon set created by Charles Bradbury and the community.
Has this concept/drop been quietly abandoned? In recent months you have done a very good job communicating with the community but this seems to have slipped through the cracks. Can we please get an update, seeing as how the “week of March 22” is almost over?
Also, just a side note: That is just some weird phrasing to say “the week of March 22”. Tuesday was the 22nd, so it’s technically the week of March 21 or March 20 depending on what day you start counting the week.
Also, if the drops start on the 22nd it would be more clear to just say that. Using the phrase, “the week of” could lead people to believe the drops is live now, and it is not. It’s not even showing as a future drop.
Anyone from AGS want to drop in and give us a hint as to when the drop announced for this week starts?
