Then ppl will stop play opr… 40 mins with no reward… In Pve if you kill all bosses except the last boss you are still rewarded alot… As it is now pvp is frikking unrewarding as a whole compared to pve…

if we are doing time gates then also throw in the universal daily cooldown (3am or something)

I am somewhat worried about that considering that if Lost Ark will get the same poor management as New World then the masterpiece will easily turn into trash.

And i am not trying to bash on the AGS team because they definitely worked hard to make New World better but when you have your game swarmed with bots and you do nothing when the players report them with video evidence then you clearly do not care anymore.

you can limit the progressing by either RNG or by time gate nothing else will work.

Or you create asystem that has no progressing limit and you end up like Diablo 3 with paragon level 4034 players and +500 stats

I agree with this post, my first thought when reading the patch notes was that they are adding more annoying grinding/gating mechanics to keep you having to log in regularly, instead of having you wanting to play for fun.

It’s a big part of what ruined wow retail and now it is happening to new world, but much sooner in its lifetime.

No stop Catering just to PVP you’re just killing the game in a different way.

you gain weapon skill exp from mobs too you know. you just get more from getting pvp kills too.

thats your opinion, but the people who bought and stayed with the game didnt do it because they wanted a great dungeon experience.

I’m not saying zergs are the optimal game loop, but overall, in this game open world and freefrorm progression is how most people prefer to engage with the game.

They should work on making better versions of the content people enjoy, instead of trying to railroad all players into the least played content.

and diablo has actually done remarkably well with little actual development. That said, I’m not reccomdnding this game become diablo

GS 625. Yes in about 2 months and obtainable same way as 590 now.
Mutators? Yes. Now. For the sake of PVE fun.

Everything that has been done has been done to slow people down. I have no idea why they would be so afraid of people getting exactly what they want and having fun.

They think us getting the exact things we want will make us give up and leave. When in reality, the fact that I simply can’t get the things I want due to 20 layers of RNG is what keeps me from logging in most days.

If they continue down this path the game will be dead before first expansion comes out. And no one will give them more money for a dead game.

I dunno i feel so bad nad wierd now ,i had high hopes for january update after dev vid…all i wanna say is why u try to slow ppl down so much,your game is not a f2p mobile trash , your game is not subscription based either…can u stop shoving systems from those 2 in here ?

Looking at their implementations of features and systems gives me feeling that i play a F2P mobile game with a subscription that i baught for 40 euroses for PC and try to play on PS5…if you get my drift . …it jsut doesnt make any sense

I logged in yesterday, half my gypsum timers weren’t even cleared. So I couldn’t do anything.
I decided you know what, I will do some OPR, only to get the weird movement bug, had to restart my client and guess what, I got locked out for an hour.

This game actively tries to cockblock you at every turn.

Remember outriders? The game had huge potential and they drove it trough the ground with their endgame timed events. And when 90% of the people stopped playing they removed them altogether.

If they just increased bumps all the way to 625, all the gear I’ve crafted over the past couple months becomes crap. This system allows people who have put effort into acquiring awesome 600gs items to still be rewarded for it, and get to upgrade it to go with them.

The tuning orbs for mutated expeditions at present are not gated like the current gen/laz ones. It’s just faction tokens and coin. There are PvP and PvE ways to acquire both of those currencies. This is the simplest gate to get through.

As others have said, elite chests are stupid easy to do, multiple times a day huge zergs go through these areas and it becomes effortless to hit a dozen in 20min. You think that should just poop out 625 gear for people? Absurd.

The mutated orbs are 100% time locked. I have no idea where you are getting that they aren’t.

And all your 600 gs stuff is already crap, as is mine. Because you will undoubtedly need to run Gen/Laz for 3-5 weeks to get enough to put one thing up to 625.

Most games that raise gear score have enough drops to justify it. This game constantly blocks you from getting high drops and will continue to bleed players because of it. I mean its basically destiny 1 all over again with less drops. Log in once a week, run the raid (gen/laz) a couple times for drops, log off.

(some)Chests can be tricky solo… Its not like portal zergs are very hard either… Once you learned the mechanics dungeons are pretty easy too…

But maybe the gs625 loot should be reserved for those uberguild pve:ers?
