how is running around gathering mats less brainless than running around opening chests? I would say they are the same in difficulty.

I earn gold in Outpost Rush so I don’t have to run around and mindlessly farm mats tho. Players do that for me and they get my gold in return :frowning:

Oof 600 gold? I can barely repair now as a healer, I’m broke as a joke? How the hell am I gonna afford 3,600-4,200 gold every day to make 6-7 casts.

It does tho cos the gear I currently have will be downgraded/scaled down and to get my specific gear all over again after doing mindless grinding on top of that will cost me a fortune :frowning:

no way in hell its the same, you can do w/e you want while gathering/skining/mining/loging/harvesting hard to explain it there is a feeling of freedom even tho you are on the hamster wheel.

but your gear is now scaled to your opponents gear in PVP. So this change has no effect on PVP.

But what if I also chose to do PvE content like my build works just aswell for expeditions. So I’m screwed over if I want to do the new expeditions :frowning:

this is also bad a 300GS item with good perks will be scaled down compared to a 500-600GS with bad perks

It really hasn’t been well thought out

They incorporated new ways to get you WM guaranteed by obtaining Gypsum which can be obtain by doing OPR as well as other things or did you just post without reading the PTR notes? Also your gear now scales with your WM so as you obtain these Gypsum and steady raise your WM so will your gear that you are wearing you act like all the gear you obtain is for naught, and even if you scale down your only losing like 5/10 stats total if all you do is pvp you’d hardly notice a difference and it’s not like pvp is a optimal stage right now half the mods don’t even work as intended or work at all.

Of course I read the PTR notes I’m a creator for the game its sort of necessary for me to do this to have constructive conversations with the audience. The fact of the matter is I will be forced to grind regardless if I want to do expeditions with my friends now. PvP I accept I’ll still be relatively OK but PvE it’s going to take considerable time to catch up when at present there is no catch up needed. With my current gear I can do all content perfectly fine. Now with this update my PvE content will take a large hit all because I have favoured the PvP aspect of the game.

The changes killed the game as a PVE-game for me, so don’t get the idea, this is somehow an effort to make the game more PVE-oriented!!

It would have been fine if they started with it instead of changing to it. In a month or two it will be normal again. I am looking forward to the changes. It makes it more rewarding to do all forms of content instead of just opening chests. I’m sorry you are upset by it, I am OK with AGS making you earn your gear. It makes sense from the way they want the game to be.

It is by design that every move they have made has increased the grind…

I am just waiting for the “pay to play/win” options they are clearly paving the road for…
