Yes, there are good reasons for adding a third slot for fresh start servers. I will not deny nor disagree with those. However, I have one worry that I’d like to discuss:
Adding a third slot and having the release on Nov. 2, when most sweats have probably consumed Brimstone Sands content, you are basically allowing the fresh start servers to be overrun by the same PvP sweats that already have alts and own territories in different servers. It won’t be good for new/returning players because these vets outclass them.
Is this okay for those of you who are waiting for fresh starts? If not, how would you expect AGS to prevent or minimize cases like this?
Do you think it would be fair if AGS decides that people who belong to a company that owns a territory in a server are not allowed to participate in a war in another server?
@darkdayy Yup the elitists on ArcheAge had that same thought. Now look what that got them. “HAHAHAHAHAHA we just made 15,000 new comers rage quit the game good stuff.” Then later on, “The Devs suck, Dead game can’t even get above 2,000 players to log on at the same time. I can’t do content outside of 6pm to 11pm. Dev are garbage.” I’m willing to bet people like yourself will be saying the same thing.
Anyways, have fun griefing people out of the game. Just remember this when your game is back under 10k concurrent players worldwide.
Like many other Veteran players, I’m going to hop over on the 2nd after I’m done with the Brimstone stuff and gonna have some fun sending Fresh Starters back to the Starting Beach for a couple days.
Gonna be some great content, although slightly unfortunate for New Players that actually think they’re going to start on an equal playing field.
