The Endgame #3 Feedback is a massive win and shows AGS is learning

You can at least do the crafting casts. while doing the other things so do some of both. Yes I like the choices. Having options is always better than not having options.

aweeeee

The New system Hits early 2022. Most People will have GS 600 or Close to that anyways Till the patch Hits.

I’ll probably need 2-3 More Weeks, No reason to wait. “Early 2022” could mean everything from Early January Till March btw.

Yeah man, this is excellent. I honestly could not be happier with their direction on this update. Any of my remaining complaints are minimal and not worth the breath in light of last night’s pivot.

Instead of quitting the game when the patch hits, I’m looking forward to the patch. Thanks for listening to the players, AGS!

Nothing basically changed, what are you looking forward too? The same stuff that is already driving people to quit.

I’m looking forward to their first Real event (Winter event)

Also that Crafting/gathering can also increase HWM (or Expertise now). Rewarding players who invest more and enjoy those activities. Inbetween Chest runs or OPRs.

You can much quickly increase expertise accessories and specific armors/weapons (or shields).

Greataxe getting knocked down a hard notch, potentially changing the meta.

More taxes for endgame regions with the new Gypsum orbs. From PTR If i recall, only Reekwater and Ebonscale are company-ownable regions with the Kilns to craft them so it increases their value if at least a little while not letting the rich regions get richer.

Plenty is changing giving reason to players to stick around longer or giving people the excuse to leave, whatever floats their boat.

It takes a long time…

Just buy voidbent from the crafters that all complained so they use this extortion to their advantage

yet another indication they don’t have a real roadmap… this flip flopping crap isn’t helping them.

not that i mind these changes, my chars too low a level for it to matter atm.

Just stop. Them responding to feedback is not flipflopping. I’m tired of people like you. AGS can never win. If they do something wrong they should change it! That’s a good sign.

They posted something asking for feedback, received feedback, and responded accordingly.

W-wait! They started listening to feedback?!?!
WOW!!!
Took them how long to do so?

damn who killed you in opr? great axes?

p2w? where? I pretty sure ags would realize that would put the nail in the coffin… they just need to sell the zone expansions and thats ok with me

I think he is more talking about the people that RMT.

I’m surprised that AWS have actually listened and decided to make a compromise solution that isn’t terrible, and in fact is almost decent.

It gives me hope going forward that there is a future for this game. Well done AWS.

of course they are flip flopping, wtf did expertise come from in the first place?
and these changes show they don’t have a decent vision ahead, if they did they wouldn’t have to flip flop…

A massive win for crafters maybe, but not everyone is a crafter and for me personally, the devs don’t listen at all and I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling this way. But having said that, I don’t expect them to be listening and adjusting their plans to suit me. My choice is simple, play or don’t play. Endgames are a long-used device by developers to keep people playing and by design, they are meant to be time-consuming and repetitive. And it’s a lot cheaper to do than constantly putting out new high-level areas and dungeons for people to rush through, find all the shortcuts and exploits to do them quickly, and move on. So they have us rolling a thousand-sided die hoping for a 1000 and salvation.

terrible.

Crafter World meta.
