1- The 500 gold cap, how will that be handled if players need to be in the guild?
500g cap is ridiculous, a lot of itens already exceed that price, and people dont have any other way of holding that amount
2- The big shell companies of my server, are already leveling alts in anticipation, to counter the changes.
The only way i see to really counter it is to set groups of towns with the same war time, like, Winds, Bright and Everfall have the same locked time, left coast maps another time, right, another.
3- The way war is declared needs a change too, because is more of a boring, repetitive task, than a meaningful game mechanic
I mean there ways around it, people would just get alts and store gold that way. Have an alt with a company and store gold in it. Setting the gold cap at 500k wouldn’t stop items from decreasing in price.
Agreed what is being done to prevent multiple alts from being on the servers, to circumvent the new rules? Maybe a hardware IP tracker to tie how many wars you are joining how many of your characters are on the same server? Limit the joining of wars by making it hardware IP tracked? Limit the total amount of characters allowed on a server by IP address? And give these alts 2-3 days after player signs on to account and sees the message, to decide a new server or AGS should automatically place the alt character on a different server. @Shadow_Fox@Luxendra@Aenwyn
I do agree, the coming changes are good but will still let others exploit/abuse them.
Setting territory wars on the same hour would lock all alt company/accounts abuses/exploits.
We wont see the same company holding 2-5 territories with alt companies, unless they will have 250 members.
We wont see the same company holding 2-5 territories playing on different alt accounts to bypass the upcoming changes. Also there is high chance those alt accounts to be bought with real money, money also gained from past 10+ months of selling Gold for real money.
I think its hilarious we even have to talk about alts when you arent allowed to create an alt now but through server transfers, some players magically are allowed to have them now.
1- 500k gold cap is fine, “How will that be handles”, its called asstize, turn the money into material and gear, your value will stay the same and on top it will help the crafters / gatherers.
2- It was already mentioned in over a 100 posts on this forum(if you look it up) that there is a way to prevent alts and its by setting all siege windows(that goes for both wars and invasions) at the same time/hour(“peak time”)
alts or no alts, cant play 2 wars at the same time.
3- I agree that running influence is terrible and dreadful, would be fun to see some changes done that involves pvp like a pre war at the fort, or instances and so on.

500k is fine. I’m at the gold cap and not only is it easy enough to stockpile other items, but its a nice little mental check. Like “hey, your’e done, stop farming.” It also forces that money to be pushed back into the economy. I don’t feel bad for hording gold, but all those lol-posts, like that one guy who had 10k eggs when the game first started, make me get a little mad at how they’re crippling the market just for the memes.
Attackers should set the window within 6pm-11pm Eastern (for US East) servers. Defenders have to adapt. Easy peasy fix to it all.
I think the possible war windows should be reduced to something like 7pm-11pm (or maybe midnight) to help reduce shell companies. I also think that forts should downgrade even if you successfully defend. If your siege weapons all get knocked out in a war, they should be downgraded. If your walls all go down, they should be downgraded. Then what you do is add a “Upgrade now” option that just costs a ton of gold and/or a ton of materials (ironwood planks, orich ingots, etc.) instead of town boards (and take those silly town board options out while at it). This will create some sort of money/resource sink in the economy and makes total sense, too.
I think they also need to make it more possible to stop an influence push (especially if a faction has but a single territory left, they should be able to basically block wars if they fight for it) so that open world PvP happens more. On PTR looks like they got rid of eradicate, but there’s still a cooldown on rewards from killing people, those should be given a much shorter timer to reset.
They need to create systems that encourage full player involvement in territories. Not just me/my shell company holds these territories and we get to rake in money (and ‘allegedly’ RMT the money away). If a company with only 50-100 people that runs a bunch of alts and doesn’t let the rest of the faction/server get into war tries to run 3-4 territories it’ll start to run up some of the costs from having to rebuild war horns/gates, especially in the off territories that don’t make a mil+ a week.
Territory control/wars needs a total revamp. Let the faction control the territory only. Companies can control the forts for some kind of minor bonus/advantage. Maybe force some more open world pvp. Taxes can only be used for upgrades. Cannot be withdrawn. Timer on wars…like a 24 hour lockout from other wars after participation. Just my thoughts.
