Thatâs more than enough time to run there and use all your skills. You cant dodge of it, so even the player is walking, they are going to get 100% of the damage without a chance of dodging/missing it.
Can you still use flesche, burnout, evade, vault kick, feral rush, etc to get out without walking?

I swear people are comparing apples with oranges. In a different post someone was complaining that the bow cannot stagger a player then follow up with a shot because melee can do it, only the bow canât. Here you are comparing a melee weapon with a range weapon. Whatâs wrong with people nowadays, is logic this hard ?
A melee weapon that needs to chase a target getâs their best option to have a chance against range nerfed to the ground, not counting reap as it only works 50% of the time.
Meanwhile you are telling me that a musket that can shoot at over 100 m + rapier will have issues against some meaningless escape tools that only work against melee. Jesus

And a top 5 in OPR is meaningless with how the scoring is broken. I can faceroll to a top 3 finish the majority of the time by just dusting off one of my LS builds, Scoring for everything else is so broken it doesnât matter where you place itâs irrelevant.

itâs more situational now. You have to be more aware on when to use it. If you noticed someone is out of stamina or getting CCed, itâs a good bet to use it then. If people clump up, it can still be dangerous, but itâs now just a decent snare like Ice Storm. I never thought the GA was in a bad spot, I still use it from time to time with S/S and I can get GW to land 100% of the time if I use my rotations correctly⌠ie, stun, GW, stagger or stun or even flatten while in GW and youâre gtg.
As for just using it as you wish? nah you canât anymore. there has to be thought put into when and where to use it. But people could also pull you back into a GW. For example, I 1v1ed someone on my server, I landed leaping strike from the back, and snared him for 8 seconds, when I was close enough- Shield bash > GW, Fully charged GA swing straight into reap, and it all landed. ofc I waited until he used his mobility abilities (same as before) to use the rotation.
itâs not useless by any means⌠but itâs gimp in comparison to what it was. but itâs not useless at all.
Put it this way, if it was useless, people wouldnât have any need to leave the GW and just eat the snare/damage. but everyone still avoids GW lol why avoid something thatâs useless if itâs useless?
