Until now, I haven’t found any single server where there aren’t multiple companies with the same name that are actually the same guild / community.
This happens due to the following factors:
- It is unthinkable that fewer than 100 people join together in a mmorpg, given that many multigaming communities have landed in the game, or guilds already existing on other games, which have migrated to the new world.
- Being the game, very HC, having 100 maximum players in the company, forces the governors to expel inactive people even for a few days, or move casual players to a second guild (so as not to be forced to kick them out) in order to constantly have a good number of people active online to contest the influence in a territory (unfortunately it can be contested 24 hours a day and there can be a siege every 2 days, even on weekends).
- For a company that decides to have 2 or more territories, it is advisable to have more companies, in order to take each territory with a different company, in order to have different periods of siege and to avoid enemies from sending more territories into conflict in the same period.
Personally, I find it very unfair, towards the players, that the current system (limit of the companies and the very Hc content of the game, or sieges that can always arrive, even on weekends, and contestation of the territory 24 hours a day) forces me, as governor and kick out from the company those who are inactive even for a few days, to make room for new players much more active, and move to the second or third guild, all the more casual players, who will inevitably feel sidelined or excluded even from important content.
So having a company, where I can have at least 200 seats, saves me from having to expel or move players to second or third companies to always have 50+ active, even on the weekend, to face the sieges and contestation of the territory.
Also, as in addition to this, many create multiple companies, to simply have more territories while maintaining different siege periods, there should be a system that can mitigate these anomalies. A system would also suffice for which, you cannot easily move from one company to another. Because in fact, many companies move all their members to the second company, to gain influence and win the siege with the second company and take the territory with the second company, and then maybe return to the first.
