Just now spoke to Tech support, the Devs are aware. Their internal reference number for the case is V452403201. Its an open case so if you want to get them to fix it quick pester them by going to Contact Us | Amazon Games and selecting live chat.

please fix the bug of the malevolence boss disappeared in my face, then it does not appear again. We have been waiting a long time to be able to complete the hammer quest. It’s been 6 days since your last answer, how much longer do we have to wait?

Came too late after the restart to even see him. Now its not spawning again, as usual. Do we really have to wait til next week to maybe get lucky?
Same thing on EU Central : Saena . 3rd week in a row for me without being able to get my hammer #sigh
We have the same problem on the EU Larissa server, I understand that it is a general problem but I do not know why they have not solved it for two weeks

+1, been waiting on my hammer for a while now. hope 1.05 fixes this since it seems like an issue on every server
No patch notes about it being fixed, hopefully its a secret fix. Sign on right after servers come up and try to kill him without him despawning…

It’s an important quest, for a weapon 580 and it’s still not fixed !
Luckily I logged out at malev yesterday so I can make my way back up quick and hopefully meet a party there…

It looks like it has been added if you read above, but I don’t think the necessary urgency is on it that needs to be. This is a virtual brick wall for a lot of people. Continue to comment and bump this thread to get it the attention it deserves.
It’s crazy how long this issue has persisted.
I hope they tackle this issue within the next update. Not only can’t you complete the warhammer quest line, afaik the boss also is the only source for a weapon smithing armor part. (chest or pants)
