I found a way , i went back to play my lvl 60 , and will be waiting for the fresh server , and will delete the one that is stuck on this quest

Just in case anyone finds this in the future… the quest wasn’t broken for me, but it took me a bit to work out who you need to talk to for progressing it.

  • The Marauder guy is in the Inn, at the back left as you enter.
  • The Syndicate guy is out of town, a bit to the NE
  • The Covenant guy is in the church.

They’ll have grey quest markers over their head, not green or yellow.

I went to that spot, I am there right now on a fresh server and the syndicate guy is not there, the area is empty, any ideas?

Same here for me on fresh start server. Can’t get credit for talking to the Syndicate rep

Go to the North East outside of the settlement and he’s at that 4 way split, east of Faith’s Bounty

Similar issue with this quest except that the Marauder rep just isn’t where he’s supposed to be in the Inn.

Still no attention on this? Im standing here with 4 other players on a fresh server, waiting for Syndicate NPC to show up. Hes no where in sight, and map marker shows him directly on top of us.

The entire quest is bugged - when you accept it, 2 of the required NPCs are cleared as if already spoken to. And the remaining NPC does not exist where he is supposed to be outside of town. And if you speak to the Syndicate Rep who is actually inside the town, he says nothing.

I did try to abandon the quest and now dupois won’t give it again by the way.

There’s nobody there, that’s the problem.

I’m deff. in the inn. The marauder guy is NOT there, and i’m exactly on the spot where it tells me to visit. This is driving me nuts.

Same issue for my wife and I. He’s not at the crossroads.

We also had the other two marked off from the start of the quest.

Yeah so I was standing out in the field doing nothing, SW of Everfell, looking for Covenant, ran back to town to go to the 4 way talked about here NE of town, and ended up talking to the person in the church (did have a green arrow), that did move teh Covenant story line along.

Cool it worked for you, talking to the person in the Church did nothing, still says talk to covenant, still grey marker over head. Extremely lame…

I am stuck looking for the Syndicate guy at the 4-way intersection. Same issue as above, and I am hesitant to reset. This is on my fresh start server.

30 days and this quest is still broken

This is pathetic as this is a KEY quest

Did you hire the ex twitter employees or something? Fix it.

There is no excuse the quests accepts and then is broken right from being accepted… how did you even manage to mess this up… pathetic.

I had the same issue when trying to complete the Covenant section of the quest.

I could be wrong but I think the guy I was supposed to talk to was behind the Covenant Initiation quest, because after I finished it I was able to move forward in the Three Way War

Exact Same issue. No Contact in the Inn. He’s just missing.

It’s December 17. This problem is at least two months old. I’ve been playing for less than a week and 4 of my current quests are bugged, including this one.
