They need to revert it ASAP and go back to the drawing board because it’s still going to be a problem
Riposte needs to have its own damage count that scales with how much damage your rapier has invested in it and if it hits than cap then it breaks the riposte
yeah it did now you dont see healers runniong around in circles all day and not dying, now they actually have to get out of the area to survive, and with this new GA buff bubble they wont get away. The most annoying thing is to see LS/Rapier running around by 4+ players and constanstly running healing without any consequence.
I play different builds right now using FS/IG and I can easily delete a GA/WH or get out of multiple grave wells by just blocking, dodging and burnout, or with spear/hatchet bezerk/leap, or cc them with my spear… I even tried incinerate/burnout once and was surprised it worked…
Yeah you have one of the only abilities that lets you survive a grav. Surprisingly it works? Everyone without a block or riposte gets to die in grav well. You get to die in the second grav well.
dude I have light armor when Im FS/IG I should be dead in 3 hits but I seem to get away, there are instances that I get caught but thats my fault I did not keep the proper distance in tthe first place and I was unaware of my environment, yes sometimes I get tunnel vision and do not check my flank, but a ranged players that gets stuck in grave well all the time has to rethink how they play.
i still think on .01 second trigger it should return FULL damage back (meaning if you time it right against an enemy heavy hitting you deal back that damage to the enemy as a serious redirect + all the other effects (stun)
.02 to .5 is a normal one. .6+ you only get the negation.
it makes for a skilled weapon where if you properly time it you get actually rewarded.
having ass loads of trouble running in SM trophy runs. the double forts with the 200 mobs wreck me now when before i could reliably chain flurry and riposte to not die.
Rapier makes no sense. 6 months of game so far, rapier has been ussable only one month. it was crap when game launch, they buffed it, it was ussable… now all cooldowns where increased ±150% LIKE WTF?.. uninstalled the game already, but its just dissapointing, every time i come back to the game the only new thing i find is that they nerfed my whole build to the ground.
Nobody said all the time and nobody said ranged either. There are other melee weapons in the game that get screwed by a giant buff to the best melee build. Spear? Yeah no reason to run that when you have a 20 yd aoe root on the tanky dps.
anyways I find it redicolous that a ls user can constantly dodge rapier out and keep his team up without any consequence, yes unfortunately is screwed the other specs but it doesnt man that the other specs are no longer viable, a good musket or archer can still take me down when I do my spear/hatchet build, or even as a healer.
