You only wish you had the intelligence to make my day rough. You will be forgotten shortly. Bye bye
The valley is lowest concurrent users on. Then during peak it goes up. If todays peak is lower than yesterday it is not an upward trend. You measure peak against peak. Not peak against valley
I didnt make it rough, you being called out multiple times for not having a clue what you are talking about has made it rough.
Look at you trying to pretend you knew what that meant more than 10 minutes ago. That is cute, good job learning from your mistakes though.
You are still wrong though because, as others have pointed out, itâs concurrent users not users in total.
The whole measure is actually moot because this isnât a subscription based game. The number of users will always be however many copies were sold and played. The number of people logging in isnât of consequence save maybe merging servers at some point.
You measure both against both. Low to low and high to high. If both drop 20k players in a 24-hour period, itâs a safe assumption that 20k fewer people were playing in that period.
Every part of this game feels like there was no research done and an attempt to reinvent the wheel with a square instead of a circle. In some cases it works but in most it fails. Itâs very difficult to figure out whatâs a bug and whatâs bad design. The line is very blurred. This is a game that should be patched weekly no doubt.
Man a thread about a patch turned into a thread about player numbers all because one poster didnât know the difference between Concurrent players and Active players.
That is pretty funny and next level hijacking of a thread.
Yâall should look up âdisconnected while waiting for server to describe the worldâ in the forums here and tell me we couldnât atleast use rolling restarts
Furthermore the mods have said their goal is weekly patches, if so I agree it should be scheduled downtime the same every week (barring anything major that needs to get out in immediately)
A goal is something to strive for. Itâs not something to be crucified for if itâs not met.
This is not a simple chunk of code we are all playing here.
Its an industry standard because he said so. what, do you need more?
This game has a lot of problems but idk if Iâm expecting a weekly patch lol.
Actually on October 19th the CM said there would be a patch this week. Not unreasonable to expect it when they said it.
I would expect weekly until the major issues are sorted out.
unless you use some sort of new feelings based zoomer calendar, this week ends on saturday, October 30th
PTS has weekly patch notes (and even this week was skipped), live we are looking at roughly bi-weekly. Last patch notes was 10/04 for PC. Most games do not have weekly patch/notes, not to say NW doesnât need it, but there is no precedent of weekly patch notes from previous games. Even if there was a precedent, its not an AGS precedent so that doesnât matter.
Based upon their own comments on Friday the 15th for why they would not update for server transfers There is no reason to think they would do a patch or update on friday or Saturday.
Please give me a MMO that has patches every week?
ESOâs last patch was 10/04; not weekly.
Last Patch Notes I could find for final fantasy was 06/22 (Canât guarantee thats correct as their site is terrible)
Wow had patch notes 10/22, before that was 6/28; not weekly.
SWTOR patch notes 09/14; not weekly
Runescape patch notes 10/25; WEEKLY
So unless your only MMO you play is runescape, a majority of MMOs do not have weekly patches.
if you beta tested wow you are at least 30-40 years old, please grow up already lmao. This thread is nonsense.
