Don’t get me wrong, my dislike is definitely subjective to my own taste and bias, however it’s just uncannily big for the player model.
Plus, as you can see from the gif above; it’s just too distracting in size. Here’s hoping it can still be salvaged with a simple rescale!
It is lol. If you compare it to a regular bow. I thought the same when I tried it today.

Fair enough. As i mentioned in my post, it’s definitely subjective to my bias and taste. I just don’t see a bow being so intrusively big, being of any benefit.
But if you guys like it, i’m glad!
It has also become my favourite bow skin irregardless of size. It has the perfect design to accompany the rest of the Assassin’s Whisper set. Just wish it was smaller to fit the whole “stealth” aspect/design of an Assassin - as per its set name. Not such a large uncannily sized bow that’s larger than the player model + is so disproportionately large that it’s harder to stealth around as an Assassin would.
I miss the days of my hammer skin being cartoonishly large, i wish they came with a slider 
You can RP as though you are playing FFXIV, BDO and such with this skin.
That’d be insane, but sadly never happening haha - i mean come on, we can’t even have custom quivers. They don’t match the bows and we can’t even dye them or anything even though there’s a dye system already implemented in the game.
Throughout my journey playing New World, i just find so much wasted potential. Could be the best MMO out there, but so many things are overlooked, unfinished, and it’s so painful to watch potential go to waste. Ah well.

Its my actuall light set all bis, tho helm is medium ofc, only use it for fun, otherwise go with purple eyes like to my already longer time favourite medium all arounder. That helm is also bis, tho for rapier, still waiting for top spear one… Wanted that helm since day 1 it was released.
I would legit pay like 100 bucks for that exact helm transmog, 200 if it was just for me exclusive.

Look at this comparison i did today. So you can see i’m not joking when i say this new Skullstring bow skin is just way too big. It makes yours look tiny, and yours is already larger than every other bow in the game!

Dont like the skin, DONT USE IT, it was literally FREE. Just because its not to your taste doesn’t mean they should change it for everyone.
