The time for the patch (or any patch) is always terrible

The time for these patches are always at prime/peak playtime hours, for the most part. Friday night, right after dinner time?! There has to be more thought put into this. Wars are scheduled, instances you schedule with your company, etc. It’s the weekend ffs! Please patch in the middle of the night or early morning. WoW always did it contrary to prime times.

do you or do you not want P2P trading back?

yeah timing is sucky but so would waiting another day or till next week for getting those things reenabled.

Okay… If this was the first poorly timed patch they’d administered, I wouldn’t complain. I could suffer another couple hours without trading. All I was asking was for it to be toward the middle of the night. Not wait “another weekend”.

And, as I said. Never really ran into that on other MMOs. They would do mid-week, off-hours.

middle of the night is effectively a 1 day delay.

if the patch was ready how do you think people would react to knowing those things could of been enabled today.

its a lose lose nomatter what.

yeah obviously other mmos and game studies have a better grasp on their game then nw. there is no denying that.

I understand what you’re saying. I just think if people had the choice of A: gaming while they’re home and available, waiting another 4-5hrs vs. B: arranging plans, events, instances and having them crapped on -day of-, I think they’d choose A. Not saying that stands for all cases. And once again, if it was the first time they’d done this during a peak weekend night, I’d not be whining nearly as much.

Right but from what i can see they must of weighed the pros and con. hot patch now or hot patch later.

ether they are not considering the implication of dropping the patch during other time zones prime times (man the wars, invasions. F those servers) (and actually from history they probably dont consider it)

or they did consider the implication and decided it was worth more to get it out and deal with a smaller outrage than a bigger one.

thats what im seeing.

Hello!

I am going to move this into the feedback section of the forums, since the points you are making regarding this would be better served being there.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about this.
