it’s a one-time buy, as buy entire pass that can only buy once, along with much other rewards, not to mention that you have to do some in-game activites in order to be eligable to claim rewards. it’s not something than you can drown your money in endlessly awaiting for some kind of return

Or if you want to use more, it’s nearly 200% more than the price of the game if you wish to disclude the difference between the game cost ane the overall cost.

I see your point and you make some pretty good spot lights in gear sets and big storage.

Yet I still believe we should have as many slots as we are willing to cash out for. Make bundles of that would cut the slot prices to 2.50 which I would completely support.

People are already using the slots to stash thousands of food items into them saving 100s if not possible thousands in weight.

I wouldn’t just like to hear where there train of thoughts are on the item slots other than people wanted them.

What is AGS over head view on the system and how do they see the design intended view.

In that argument you don’t need slots for any of the sets. Just do it all yourself, right?

As an avid crafter, it would greatly improve QOL to have enough gear set slots to encompass all gear sets not only combat centric gear.

There is a lot of banter between you two. The topic at the end of the day is the gear sets and their slots.

Regardless of anyone’s opinion on if trade skill gear should be added it comes down to one simple thing.

A players QOL.

For someone that runs a lot of PVE they would want slots for that gear.

For someone that deals with a lot of crafting across all trade skills it would greatly improve their QOL if they had a function to organize (the slots) all of their crafting gearsets.

In the end the slots inherently are designed to hold a set of gear, regardless if it’s PVE, PVP or Trade skills they all have specific gear that requires organization.

The price is high for all of these sets.

They need to just do away with crafting gear all together, and once you hit 200 crafting you can craft guaranteed 600 items. This rng gambling system is quite annoying and not allowing me to guarantee 600 and the perks I want is the reason for example a arb attune, keen jag, and enchanted/vic bow is 400k, the cap is 500k gold so you mean to tell me I need to spend 90% of my gold just to get one item.

Do away with ward and bane gear and make it just trophies, it’s way too much to manage, it makes it so people that have a real life and work for a living don’t have the time to participate in all the content, the game has become pvp only to me because I have no interest in rolling ward gear, with 10k or more worth of mats, 300+ times til I finally get what I want. Even with the wardrobe system I’m not paying hundreds of dollars for the ability to have a less cluttered gear management system. I’ll use the doubloons from the seasons pass and even that is gonna get me like maybe 2-3 slots.

The game is becoming way too complex and it repels new players, way too much junk loot, adding attunement to the game basically made all named weapons useless, there are too many perks, too many gear sets, too many trophies, they need to cut at least 50% of that bs out of the game to make it more user friendly so that the player base can actually grow, instead of getting stagnant until old players come back. For a game dev with the funding of a multi billion dollar company to not understand how to bring new customers to indulge in their product, blows my mind. It’s astounding.

Said it before and i’ll say it again. You dont need gear slots. For months now, I have had my LUCK set, healing PVM*3, Healing PVP, my in-work tank build, acid luck set and my firemage PvP build in my inventory. You dont need these fancy gear slots. You dont.

All my banks are pretty much full from random gear that I just toss in there without thinking twice… every time I clean up I have tons of space afterwards. Being limited is part of new worlds charm, otherwise you could stock up endlessly on materials ruling the market. (Technically you still can by making 100 x 10000 resource purchases in 1 location before it becomes full) - but being limited in some sense is fine. You have massive amounts of space across all your storages and 3* houses with 5600 space in each. (Yes you have to actually loot or craft the chests to get this amount, but you want this for free as well I guess?)
Back to gear slots…
It is the same deal with social gear, it is something fancy extra you can get if you want it. You dont NEED it to function. It does not affect your ability to use fireball or an axe…

I don’t understand your point. The gear slots have been asked by the majority of the player base since before the game launched. It should have always been a functionality. Every other major MMO has it, it’s not revolutionary or a new concept.

You don’t “need” fast travel but they’ve added more and have made it more accessible since launch. You didn’t “need” to have cross storage availability, just walk right? No absolutely not, the players QOL is paramount for the longevity of the player base.

We are not talking about what people opinion on the need for slots are. We are discussing a game design that has already been implemented and how it should improve for everyone’s QOL.

It’s highly unlikely they will remove one of there core designs “banes”. I would be completely shocked if they did that since they struggle with significantly smaller changes.

Removing the banes would impact, damage, armor, weapons, accessories, potions, crafting, the economy and so on … you have a sound idea but it has an infinitesimal chance of occurring.

Just because you ask for something does not mean it gets directly handed to you… which it sorta did. You just have the option of getting more.

Every other major MMO might have somethign similar, but work dont get done for free. If thats the model you follow thats on you.

This enablers excuse is so old, lame and redundant and is what has led to the sad state of mmorpg b2p game having a f2p cash shop.

No one ever asked these poor, broke companies or devs that are apparently in the street begging for food to work for free…pushing such a false narrative is on you and why the mmorpg scene has become so predatory and sleazy.

It would be shocking, but I stand by it. It needs to be done, there is way too much clutter in the game and it makes player pick a niche, rather than playing all of the content. I know people that run m10 dungeons but they only have 2 they can run, due to the gear grind for wars, conditioning sets being too time consuming.

That was pretty hard to follow. I think you are attempting to state a belief you think I have.

That is the point of forms and discussions, to make a change. Are you implying to stay quite at all times because if someone says something, they are hoping things are handed to them? You seem to be missing the point of the forms.

No one is asking for anything for free. Quite the opposite… I stated I would prefer something that would benefit AGS and their players. I want fairness across the board, considering the extent of different gear sets that have been almost mandatory to carry if you truly play all aspects of the game.
