The Umbral Shard Issue

You can PvE for 15 hours a week, and make enough money to buy at least 1 BiS item a week.

You can play OPR, like in my case, for 300 hours (20 mins a game x 1000 games) and not get a single useful piece.

It is dramatically better to PvE and buy the gear you want than to hope you get BiS gear from OPR or the PvP track.

I haven’t seen a legendary item from the PvP track in weeks maybe even months.

Well its for you not for the people that I know.

At the end the discussion is silly, ags won’t bump the shard gains in opr… they don’t want, they don’t need. Only pvpers are mad witht the system. There is not repercursions. the unga crew is happy with their meta, etc etc. They won’t be losing 10k players for this shit, those are already gone and probably won’t be back.

Here the wish was expressed to make the pvp reward similar to the reward for pve.

Silly is that pve players start to discuss and try to explain that the desire is unjustified

go play rust if you want solely a pvp experience…

Hey, we get health potions in the PvP reward track, so everything is fine, can’t complain.

Before you said you were dabbling in STR,
I was gonna add and after doing all this one day you’re going
to realize along with the rest of us that melee weapons in general
can do everything mages can, but way more efficiently and just better.

I don’t know… because you’re not supposed to play only one part of the game to achieve the end game ?
I would love your suggestion as I’m not doing any Mutation but I’m ok with the fact I have to play the game entirely to access all endgame potential.
The only clunky things is the Mutation PvE Meta so some builds are not accepted.

PvE’rs dont need to PvP to reach end game PvE.

I’d like to pvp new world as a mage but AGS says get fd:

  • 2 weeks of just doing muts and I still don’t even have a ward set good enough to run m7s.
  • I just spent 2+ hours in a mutation lobby on a weekend morning with no success. The lobby’s still up an hour later.
  • once I get a set good enough to farm shards my build will still suck for anything but war
  • once I switch builds to hatchet bow or greatsword (cuz I gotta play the meta :P) I’ll still suck CUZ I HAVEN’T PLAYED ANY PVP

I can remove that entire shards problem for PVP in one swift move and make PVP more balanced in the same move.

NORMALIZE ALL PVP STATS AND GEAR WHEN YOU ENTER ANY TYPE OF INSTANCED PVP…

There problem solved… the issue is that perks work in PVP, they shouldn’t.
Only perks that should work in PVP are PVP Perks, and nothing more… that means all your random BiS perks are not going to win this fight for you, your player spec and skills are…

If they did this they could balance their game over time and make it feel much more fair… what they have now is a nightmare that they just keep shoveling more shit on top of making it worse and worse…
