We had close to 300+ people sign up for our defense of Monarchs Bluff last night 9:30PM EST on Kel-Is.
300 players.
13 pages of names. RANDOM names, in the order they joined.
The interface:
- does not show levels, you have to hover over names
- there is no way to sort
- cant search for names
- cant see weapons/spec/roles
- the auto fill option just tosses in whoever first come first served. (Yes i can turn it to manual, but who has time for that in war?)
We ended up spending HOURS contacting people, asking them to join our discord, and asking them to post their spec/levels, just so we could build a good group to defend.
This, is madness.
It was FASTER to use PAPER and PENCIL, than the in-game window.
Some suggestions to make planning for wars easier (and more fair for all)

As much as we want to say levels don’t matter and everyone should be included (and I firmly believe this, and posted many words about this issue in beta)…
Right now, as people are still levelling…
LEVELS Matter.
So, please, have the levels show. Programming them not to show in the list, does not FORCE ANYONE to “include the lower levels”. Instead, it FORCES US to use PENCILS!!!
- Display icons? of what weapons are ??? Role selector when joining? Not sure here, but something so I can see ROLES (Healer, ranged, melee, tanky, magey)
Using that window sucked the life out of my soul.
Gotta say, this is one reason why COMPANIES only use their OWN people. Because they can see the info better, and ask easier.
If you want us to include our FACTION in wars (And I think you do, and I want to), then help us deal with lists of players we DONT KNOW THIS INFO ABOUT.
