I think this is the most stupid quest I have seen so far, and I played quite a lot of MMOs.
That boss is not even a 5 man boss, but at least 7 (2 heals - 2 tanks) and it’s a DAMN MAIN STORY QUEST ?
No one that finished the quest can help you ? On servers that are not so populated it’s almost impossible to do, I’m having this quest for like 4-5 days now and we can’t find a 5 man group (at any hour) to do it, not even talking of 2 groups.
I was so hyped about this game until 4 days ago, I’m only going online to look for people…and that’s so sad…

I did this quest with a full group of 60’s, with blight tinctures, and even then it wasn’t a walk in the park. I have to agree, this quest is stupid to be a part of the MSQ.

I forgot the page inside the cave. I really hope they will change this quests so people that already did it can help others that still need to do it.

wait until you see the fight it self the room is trash you get stuck in everything literally, boss creates even more obstacles and its stupid resistant to any kind of dmg but slash its a shit show of a quest where people die and keep respawning outside at tent and come back in until he is dead. some of the people might not even get update if they do not do 10% DMG or they don’t make part of a team that did 10% at least.

For real though, its super dark and like you said, you get stuck on a rock every couple steps. In the group I was doing it with, multiple people, including myself, had the game crash. I could reconnect before the boss was dead but others didnt get the quest completion due to that.

i wonder how they gonna deal with this issue as some people like to level slower and other rush 60 as people can’t go there anymore most of the people will be stuck at this quest without hope to be completed.
That’s why we need party finder and shit like this should be instanced so people from other servers that need same quest can join you and complete it.
