Just started getting this bug as well where my non-starter character is placed in the starting area queue with little to no progress.

To update: I just got in after ~ 2 hours or so (there was a 500ish regular queue so this time correlates), and I had logged out while in “house view” and was in the same house view when i logged in which may have had an effect. Hopefully this bug gets resolved soon as over half my playtime has been in queues!

Same issue happened an hour ago. Got crashed to desktop. Then on relog I got….
Starting area queue 1 for undetermined amount of time.

Here’s some background on what happened and my finding so far…
I just received same bug US East Canathar.
When I go to drop down for worlds it says I have 0/2 characters on US East. That is obviously wrong. Howevern it says 2/2 on EU
(Yes I logged in to secure name)
I then click on EU to see if somehow my toon switched then it equalizes and says 1/2 on EU (I made 2 toons on EU.
Then go back to USEast and it says my lvl30 is there…Try to queue…same waiting for starting area…very frustrating. Not sure if there is a work around?

Got kicked out of server for connection issue. I’ve tried to get back in only to be stuck in a starting area queue for hours even if I’m at position #1. I’m a level 25 character it doesn’t even make sense to be in that queue. Literally unable to play now. PLEASE FIX THIS! Really bummed that I cant play a game I payed for…

Ok just got off a live chat with Amazon New World support (2 hour wait) lol
It is a know issue with no work around. But they are working on fixing it…
No timeline….

I would appreciate any support we can get on resolving this issue or being given a relevant response from the mods.
I am getting increasingly concerned that it is not possible to even re-join the server since character creation has been closed on this server, therefore can anyone in this queue actually login to the server?

Same issue for me:
Level 26, Caer Sidi, EU. Dropped internet for a second, tried logging back in, been stuck in Starter Queue for the past 5 hours with not moving 1 space.

@Advanced_Caveman This is not the solution for the problem, can you elaborate what is the fix or is being done to fix that people that already played on a world and account do not get in the starters area queue ?

I have been having this issue as well. I queue up and get a spot in queue, usually 1-10, for “a starting area”, and when I get to the front, eventually I either see my client crash, or I get a “failed to join login queue” message.
I’ve definitely progressed out of the tutorial zone; I was doing quests for a quest giver at the first watchtower I was started near. I don’t remember exactly which zone, though.
