Logged out in Windsward town, now stuck in the starting area queue:
I would appreciate any support we can get on resolving this issue or being given a relevant response from the mods.
I am getting increasingly concerned that it is not possible to even re-join the server since character creation has been closed on this server, therefore can anyone in this queue actually login to the server?

Same issue for me:
Level 26, Caer Sidi, EU. Dropped internet for a second, tried logging back in, been stuck in Starter Queue for the past 5 hours with not moving 1 space.

@Advanced_Caveman This is not the solution for the problem, can you elaborate what is the fix or is being done to fix that people that already played on a world and account do not get in the starters area queue ?

I have been having this issue as well. I queue up and get a spot in queue, usually 1-10, for “a starting area”, and when I get to the front, eventually I either see my client crash, or I get a “failed to join login queue” message.
I’ve definitely progressed out of the tutorial zone; I was doing quests for a quest giver at the first watchtower I was started near. I don’t remember exactly which zone, though.

It’s great that so many people want to play New World. Fantastic to hear that the word is getting out more and more how great it is and that a million wanted to play on first day ! I was worried that the server queues were something Amazon were happy to tolerate for the early surge of players but I’m glad to read your post tonight and hear that you really are going to fix this next week! Thank you. Honestly, it’s a GREAT game - already. The game play is delicious with chain attacks, chain defense and weapon swaps so your always immersed and fighting hard – I can keep just doing and doing it!! The fighting is beautiful. And at level 24 I got a taste of level 25 elites by accident last night and it was awesome. It’s worth the wait while you fix the queues!! But please do make it so more people can keep coming and playing. They will come. It’s frickin awesome and will stand the test of time and the test of gameplay. Those who’ve felt it already will keep coming! Hence the queues!!
