All the players crying out for a PvP server are usually players who already dominate in PvP. These are the kind of players who win almost every PvP interaction and are currently bored because there aren’t enough flagged victims running around.

I can see that you absolutely don’t understand what PVP means to other players and you are the one who would like to do PVP missions in PVP OFF mode. You can stay on the PVE server and hit nodes all day long… I really don’t care, but there are players like me and thousand others, who like the adrenalin to explore and take fights along the way and they want this to be part of the game. That is what gives the game the spiciness. If I want to play the game PVP OFF 24/7 I can play Minecraft…

Even I have 2-3 unique fights during my game period, my mood is 100% better coz I just love to fight players in the open world. The whole New World doesn’t make sense, if you can’t kill other players… why take zones if you can PVP OFF everywhere?

The best system would be, that you can be PVP OFF only in zones your faction owns… if you are Purple, and you go to a zone owned by greens, you would be automatically flagged, coz it is hostile territory… Easy as that… then zones would actually get meaning, coz at this point it really doesn’t matter to even bother to have zones, to be honest.

He players the guy, who knows everything but he doesn’t… Probably never played the PVP game and doesn’t understand, what is ůfun" is for people who came from 80% due to PVP how it was marketed…

PVP and zones don’t matter at all in this game… the only thing, that matters the most is gathering and corruption killing, making money so the guild can up the tiers of crafting stations…

Green can walk in Purple zone untouchable for no problem… It is like US soldiers would go to a terrorist zone and walk no problem there even having tea with them… What a joke

The whole PVP concept is poorly done what makes it from this game Gathering simulator… I and my friends started in 9 people… we are 3 now and all of them ended around LVL 30…

That’s why we need pure PVP servers where these players can compete and don’t even bother gathering professionals with PVP OFF. Also some sort of statistics for PVP would be nice.

why don’t you guys just organize and pick a low pop server and declare it a pvp on server when the transfers come around?

the problem with that is people will join and fill up the server and not flag.

You have to understand the core problem.

The pvp people want a server to be populated with people that are into world pvp and will flag 24/7.

There is a US Easy unoffical PvP server (Valhalla) and they are reporting no one is flagging.

We need all the people who are flagged 24/7 to go into their own server for density.

Unoffical servers don’t work because people will go to them, not flag and complain anyway.

this isn’t WoW. WoW pvp servers have always been crowded because of pve reasons not because of people wanting to only pvp. also he already said they had tried an unofficial server but still couldn’t get people to flag up. which suggest there’s really not that much interest in pure pvp servers.

so either give it another shot at congregating on 1 server first and see what happens or give up on the idea that there’s any point to making an official pvp only server.

no you’re not understanding.

You can’t control who makes a character in an unofficial server.

For a new player, they wouldn’t know if the server is the unofficial, so they’ll roll and fill up space.

Space that a always flagged player should take up.

So when I said they are reporting no one is flagging, it means that there are people who made characters on that server that had no idea it was an unoffical pvp server.

A large number of people choose to play on WoW’s PvP servers despite rarely taking part in world PvP, and this is how it will be for New World also. People choose to play on PvP servers because there’s the ever present danger out in the world while they do PvE/crafting/gathering.

It’s just a little bit of extra gameplay and atmosphere. An occasional world PvP fight on top of the base game which is primarily questing/PvE. And that’s why people flock to those servers over the PvE servers.

Majority of players don’t even bother to go open world with pvp mode open, so how we are going to do in this game really??? Fortress siege is laggy with high latency and fps drops and only 100 players can attend for 30 minutes. What about other players who want to do pvp in open world or who wants to enjoy fortress battles too???.. Most of the EU servers are empty because of the free transfers… and the server capacity is 2000 players to play at the same time… most of the players are gathers or crafters or trade post followers to get items cheap to sell expensive to exploit new players’ less knowledge about the game and towns are too laggy or fps drops a lot too. There are many problems in the game and the major problems are not solve for weeks still…

Just to add on all the others: WOW-PVP-servers are still 95% PVE-content, and they only work because PVP is only 5%. If it were more, even 50/50, it would be a completely different picture.
