You have tons of clothing, weapons, crafting tolls and more on you. Maybe thats why swiming isnt possible?

Considering we all cary tons of stuiff around, it is really more immersive not to be able to swim.

It doesn’t make sense to play a “fantasy” game where you receive countless stabs, axes, shots and arrows, zombie blows possessed by the energy of the “bad thing”, which teleports using a material named Azoth that does not exist in the periodic table, perhaps teleport in the real world, your character cannot swim because he is loaded with food and collected resources. I understand your position, however it is contradictory to the “in game” reality, maybe it was ironic, if that happened, I’m sorry. In my view this is lack of polish with numerous aspects of the game, also inadmissible that in two years of news, postponements and alphas, closed beta, open beta and now release, they never bothered with a simple animation. >.<

I do the same thing haha XD,
about those that claim its because of our armor and items, does that mean if i take it all out i’ll be able to swim? no, so it’s not done for realism. it’s just not there at the moment, and I really hope it gets added eventually.
