im not wrong, go test fireball with t2 on a dummy, then use the opal… it scales very bad with int gem, go test right now then come back and thank me…

It does 3% more if there’s no ice storm or frostbites. If there’s some it scales further up

Maybe if it’s a perfect land on a light armor 50 con guy with 0 resi and shirking fort but I doubt it even then it will be 8k unless you 5 con

3520 fire dmg + 1452 ice dmg > 4972 total dmg
t5 opal did 5059 crit fireball.

What about using a ring with +5% ice/lightning/void… damage ? doest t2 gem still better than opal in that case ?
