removing/shorten void blade cooldown meaning that dev need to overhaul the whole skillset, because the blade reduce enemy defense and add DOT which is quite crucial on group based content.
On the other hand, this weapon has the highest critical chance in the game with it’s 2 passives. Once you took refreshing precision and frailty, those 25 second cooldown skill will pop up way faster than any 12-15 second cooldown skill on your secondary weapon.
no, many void perk works on skill activation: if you just make it a togglle you must change all the fortify and empower, and also ruins the sinergy with forsaken pact. As it is right now blade is fine as a skill you can just reset before it even expires
They can swap those benefits to other skills easily… Doesn’t look like a hard thing to do. The important part is you will be able to actually use the weapon… Don’t really care if debuffs are moved to another skill.
Move defense reduction to scream or oblivion since root got nerfed.
Pretty sure the fact that you lose the void blade when you switch to your other weapon is intended as a weakness for VG rather than a pointless annoyance. This does add to combat because it forces you to think about how you’re timing your use of void blade.
It is a pointless annoyance. No other melee or ranged weapon has this problem. Take spear for example.
It applies more rend up to 30%, has way more burst damage, more CC, less cooldown and no penalty for switching weapon.
Void blade is a basic part of the weapon… It’s not what makes it strong. Oblivion and scream is/was.
ur ignoring the fact that those weapons cant swap between ranged and melee lmfao. Void gauntlet is fine u just want to make it busted. Void blade is an ability and you have to use it as such.
I don’t mind the cool down, what I mind is when the blade just up and disappears right after using the ability and then starts the timer. If it wasn’t bugged and worked like it should then I would have no issue w/ VG.
What is this argument… A support weapon is supposed to have a consistent way to damage as a basic feature just like every other support weapons. And this skill isn’t meant to be support-y.
In a game that allows you to use 2 weapons to be flexible, this isn’t flexible at all… It’s just not fun. Add all the bugs and desync that happen, plus you are melee and don’t have chase capabilities.

I was listing voidgauntlet weakness. Making void blade have no cooldown wouldn’t make it have better chasing or better dps.
