Mages on top KEKW

Imagine all of those mage scrubs thinking that they will have place in expeditions/pve content. Funny. I still prefer to play with only melee players rather than have to deal with mages scattering all around the place and complaining that they dont get heals KEKW

10% buff isnt worth the hassle of being annoying to the whole group. Melle usually group up in 1 place - easier to heal and easier to tank with them. I still prefer to play with scrub meless rather that annoying mages/ranges who constantly will cry about tank not taking aggro or healer not healing them why they are on the other side of the combat space aggroing some small mobs which they cant kill. F that.

With more taunts available now, should be easier to hold aggro.

I dont see any other interesting choices than the usual WH/SNS combo. Nothing will give you taunts/cc and break enemy attacks. The next inline would be GA malestorm taunt but that wont break any of the attack patterns. So in my humble opinion WH/SNS it is. So not much changes there.

8 second AoE taunt on GS is pretty big.

Or you can get Refreshing move on sword and have a better taunt up more often + Wh breaks pattern with stagger -GS doesnt.

Or you can have SS+GS!

Even with those changes still not worth it to deal with 30IQ fire staff users and them crying about not getting heals/aggro. Like i said - melee class players who group up actually are easier to heal and tank for. Simple.

Id rather be a metaslave than struggle with m10s.

Id have to enter an M10 to struggle at it.

let me preface this by saying that im not a mage or bow or anything.

wouldnt a good ranged player just not take any damage or a minimal amount? why would they need healing?

i bet some ranged weapons become mut meta. firestaff definitely.

pillar with these smolder changes in going to be insane when the enemies get clumped up. they also increased its radius. smolder in general is going to be crazy for fs.
also smolder and burn are apparently 2 seperate DoT’s?? sheeesh.

Opening up some actual VG/FS viability too.

Medium armor, activate detonate before scream, incinerate = fun.
