While I only have 75 hours into the Live game - there are some things which definitely annoy me.
Travel: There needs to be more fast travel spots in each area and the cost needs to be drastically reduced. I’m all about exploring the map, but it gets a bit tedious and expensive when you need to travel back and forth so much.
Housing Rent: Seriously? Rent is 10% of the cost of a house? I guess this game is meant for people who love to grind because after playing a week I can already tell that grinding continuously is going to be the norm. While a lot of people are spending 12-14 hours a day in game - that is not the norm.
Mini-map: Uhh why isn’t there one? I get that we have the compass, but a mini map would be a great addition in my opinion.
Teammate names: Maybe I am missing something, but why aren’t teammates names a different/brighter color? When you are standing in a crowd of 50-100 people this would be beneficial.
Spawn Rates: This is my biggest pet peeve! Nothing more frustrating than seeing a nice Iron ore mound and racing towards it only for someone to get there .5 seconds before you. Either spawn quantities need increased for things like Iron/Silver/Gold or the spawn rates need to be dramatically increased. And do not get me started on the bear spawn rates… I was with 2 random people waiting for bear spawns for over an hour.
I get that this is an MMO and there has to be some grind to it to keep people playing/interested, but honestly the grind is already starting to deter me from wanting to play. I want to buy a house and I have the coin to do it, but now I have to grind the furnishing skill to level 35 just to get a storage chest. I already have 8 skills over 100 and most others 50+, but never thought I would have to worry about furnishings as I thought that was more a cosmetic one… ugh. Sorry for the babbling I am just frustrated.
I really want to love this game, but I feel like anything worth having takes so much time… kind of takes the fun out of the game.
