Things that will make game better

Hello Aeternum warriors! First of all I wanna take responsibility to speak for all of us, PvPers, and say that we want more PvP!

PvE activity will soon receive a nice buff, but what about us? Main motivation behind this post is to introduce purpose about wars, cuz I find it the gamesaver, there it is:

We all know that Everfall, Windsward and Brightwood produce so much money, that making the company controlling it almost invulnerable, which in turn creates a privileged faction that grows in numbers and then overwhelms server. At this point we usually consider server pvp-dead. Your thing which “cannot change faction” is working, but it’s very slow.

Add new buff, that will give PvP damage and absorption for defending players that will decay and become a curse after consequent successful defenses.

Example values:

1st defense - defending players have +10% dmg and absorption buff;

2nd defense - defending players have +5% dmg and absorption buff;

3rd defense - defending players have +0% dmg and absorption buff;

4th defense - defending players have -5% dmg and absorption buff;

5th defense - defending players have -10% dmg and absorption buff;

and so on

This will give PvP a breath, even most monopolar servers will have a PvP for towns with this. As well as top tier PvPers will have a decent challenge to defend town with high level curse. You can even create a scoreboard with it :slight_smile: History of owning, I saw guys from the strongest company on our server doing it, and it’s rly nice! Let’s make it a competition! Give us a Hall of Fame!

And more purposes, or just finger points that I find significant.

Wars:

  • I don’t know where loading after death comes from at wars, but it makes no sense to have a loading screen after death when you respawning 3 meters away.
  • Scale PvP missions rewards with player lvl and not zone. Pushing needs some improvement, right now it’s very long and tedious work with very little rewards, at least make rewards worth it. Make it cumulative as well, if the defending faction does nothing to protect itself from push it should tick faster.

OPR:

  • Cross-worlds queue, we really need that, even on top populated realms we have ridiculously long queues. Personally find it strange that we even have to ask about that!
  • Brutes is just not in a good place at all, image bad design for PvP action - here is it. Nerf it hard, removing health reset completely would be the way to go.

Inventory and storage:

  • Reduce the number of items by merging them. I don’t know about all players, but I think the majority doesn’t even know what items they have, like me for example. Crafting item system is too bloated. Next few points will show some examples that I would be very glad to see.
  • Merge items like weapon charms, leave only rapier/life staff/… charms without exact perks, and make perk selectable when crafting items.
  • Combine somehow crafting mods charms/chunks etc!
  • Timeless shards: leave only 3 of that type - weapon/armor/jewelry.
  • Add the ability to search all storages at once.
  • Add ability to transfer items from one storage to another for very low gold cost, but with time cost that available to everyone (not linked to faction control restrictions)

Houses:

  • Add a dressing room or something, that allows us to add sets to it, just like the trophy system, so we have bonuses when we are at that town from sets without needing to equip it (tanner, weaver etc sets).
  • Remove the limit for decorating with trophies, so we can have any number of them being put on the wall. But you can have only 5 active at time, for this add a new pet (or call it w/e you want) that will allow you to activate trophies from distance for azoth/gold cost.

Time Gates:

  • Please make trade skills and gypsum cooldowns reset at some certain time, not like they are now, current way is too player unfriendly.

UI:

  • Buffs bar could be more informative, now it’s showing dunno what, kind of a mess in a teamfights.
  • Showing red diamonds to mark enemies in a war can overlay players bodys.
  • Split could use some love to, mb focus on text field right after it opens would be a good place to start.

In line with the above we all wish to have more consistent and smooth control over our avatars for sure, fix the movement bug, less lag at war – do I have to mention such obvious things?

Probably, but my intention was to defend not strong company against top one, once it took over the control of top city. So it’s not just until 1st war. That was the plan :slight_smile: but may be it’s not needed indeed.
