This forum is filled with hatred and negativity

How many forum users does one admin cover? I mean, this must be expensive for Amazon, right?

Admins, usually, don’t cover set users.
It’s whoever is around (or, in the case of a company, I’d assume ‘on duty’) at the time of the incident.

My rant about how slow the admins are being is because, if EGO could have people around 24/7 as volunteers, why does these forums seem to have almost no admins on the clock?

“How many forum users does one admin cover?”

Depends on their Cheeto consumption… It would take quite a large one to cover me for example!

Don’t worry moderators will mass ban since it looks like they can handle hundreds of thousands of players raging… Oh wait

It is kind of an Amazon thing, they automate as much as possible.

I guess I walked right into this one :]

Same with Google, which is why DMCA abuse is so rampent on youtube; Google just does not want to pay people to actually police their platforms.

This is what happens when you have people sitting behind their monitors. Highly unlikely most would act like this in a face to face confrontation.

I love you

Speak for yourself  Not everyone is a keyboard warrior, some of us are actually a little bit unhinged :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Welcome to internet forums, full of hate and negativity, since…forever.
Unfortunately, this is something that will never change, unless you rule a forum with an iron fist, which opens up another can of worms.

Just ignore the trolls and elitists.

I both feel bad for EU players for this downtime AND am annoyed by them because they won’t shut up about it

Anger management classes are always an option.

In all seriousness though, it blows that the EU servers have been down this long. I live in America, but I have been through this stuff before. My thoughts on this are, I doubt the staff woke up this morning and thought, “lets screw over a specific region”. I’m sure they’re doing everything they can to get the servers up and running.

No and I get that, but 4 hours after the majority of the rest of the world was up, is a little bit much. Unless of course their servers for the EU are totally different and run a different

system to the rest of the world, at which point whoever set it up that way needs sacking

I mean right now I have been waiting 10.5 hours since it went down, yet most of the rest of the workld came up 4 hours ago

This entire community is TOXIC AF…it’s like Barrens chat on steroids… and ya know what… there are community standards, but no one does anything about it…people getting reported in game for literally doing nothing, and yet others literally telling other players to kill themselves and nothing gets done.

The easiest and best thing I ever did was turn global chat off.

I agree. My brief time playing FF14, some of us in America had to deal with similar situations, we were usually last on the list, but I don’t recall ever having over a ten hour down time. At some point, I would hope they’re able to allocate resources to every region, so these sorts of issues can be avoided with this game. For me, this is unacceptable.

I dont mind the length, it is just the fact that I am in the last 25 servers IN THE WORLD to still be waiting hah.
even the West cost was up 4 hours ago,

I moveed froma server with a 3K queue, but didn;t realise the same waait time would be added to my patch days

Funny, not funny… lol

/Good bot.

Seems like a like of gaming forums are, in fact most comment sections all places are following this trend. More complaining, less civil discussions, it’s the sad way of today.
