I agree. We were talking on another thread about our faction armor. You loose the look, as soon as you upscale. It would be cool if the faction armor also rewarded the skin for that piece of armor.
Transmog is great side play that doesn’t upset balance. They definitely need more transmog or some kind of wardrobe system in place

Totally agreed. I left a Like but I want to also leave a reply because I want to see this happen. It’s a shame when there are so many well-crafted armor pieces. It actually hurts me to salvage useless gear because some look really great.
And I’d throw in an extra Set feature so I can create and switch between more looks. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s funny that the devs thought about making me wear pink lady gloves just because they have better stats, but transmogging will open up a fun and creative activity in the game.
Right now I have a Medium armor that has a mummy hand on its back, rope to the side and little shovel and it works perfectly with the pants, boots and hat from the Twitch Prime. I want to wear this look.

Have you seen the store skins though? They look like dog sh**. why would anyone buy store skins when the base ones look amazing, if not for the lack of ther options?

Sadly this would dig into Amazons profit margin in their store.
I would also like to be able to use armour as skins. Especially because I’m not currently enticed by any of the skins in the store, and in particular, because those skins can’t even be dyed.
You can’t dye and customise the skins though.

It’s having the reverse effect for me. Due to them only selling in bundles and not having a proper glamour system, I actually don’t want to buy anything. I would buy bits and pieces if I can change it with normal in game stuff to create a look i want, but the current system discourages me from ever purchasing anything.

I feel similar. I’m a big cosmetics buyer normally (ESO / GW2), but this game isn’t hitting the mark for me in this regard, which is unusual. Perhaps a middle ground for AGS, in regards to making money, would be to implement some system of making normal armour transmoggable, but then selling things like: wardrobes for your home that enables to you to transmog whatever armour you like, and/or transmog stones. However, make transmog stones also available out in the world via azoth or some thing.
Also, the skins already availabe need to be dyeable. I don’t desire to look like exactly everyone else. A degree of customisation is important to me.

Oh yeah, I absolutely “+1” this idea : transmogrification would be a just reward for the AMAZING work of the game artists and designers.
Would be SO NICE getting a better transmog system. Dyeing is incompatible with changing the desing of your equipped items. That’s a shame for purchasable transmogs.

They could add transmog (naturally) into the game while adding it to the Arcana skill line with it’s own category.
Through the Arcana crafting station you salvage the gear you want to transmog and add it to some sort of an “art book”. From there you have access to all the juicy transmog you have collected so far.

This is a good idea but first of all they need to fix the server slot problem.(this is my opinion) Many people want to play with their friends (like me) and they cant because the character creation disabled at most of server.I know they working on it but i think this is the biggest problem at this time.But yeah,this is a rly good idea 
I hope when the character transfer would able it will been solved.

I see quite a few people asking for transmog, both here and on reddit.

This 1000% needs to be done, OR the drop rate of the niche rare materials needs to be increased tenfold.
The reason transmog would be helpful, is that as it stands, it’s near lottery winning levels of impossible to ever see the mats needed to craft some of the really amazing looking low level gear (specifically Expedition themed stuff). By the time you’ll ever see the mats to craft even one piece, you’ve seriously outlevelled the gear.
And even if you do find the mats, its likely due to you helping lowbies run some early Expeditions.
I mean just look at this. I’ve ran Starstone over 20 times now, yet I can’t craft this. And why would I since I’m lvl 51?

I’ve been doing a lot of mining lately, to the point that I got all the T3 mining gear. I’m slowly getting high enough to equip the T4 mining gear and just today donned the T4 shirt and…
I actually get the feeling they accidentally swapped the T3 and T4 shirts, it’s so disappointing. I went from having a shirt that made me feel like a professional miner to one that leaves me feeling like I’m a rough sleeper.
In any event, it wouldn’t really matter if I could’ve used the skin from my T3 shirt on the T4 one.
But I can’t, so it does. Sigh.
Played and done both wow and final fantasy, wows is waaaay more user friendly
