They could add transmog (naturally) into the game while adding it to the Arcana skill line with it’s own category.
Through the Arcana crafting station you salvage the gear you want to transmog and add it to some sort of an “art book”. From there you have access to all the juicy transmog you have collected so far.
This is a good idea but first of all they need to fix the server slot problem.(this is my opinion) Many people want to play with their friends (like me) and they cant because the character creation disabled at most of server.I know they working on it but i think this is the biggest problem at this time.But yeah,this is a rly good idea 
I hope when the character transfer would able it will been solved.

This 1000% needs to be done, OR the drop rate of the niche rare materials needs to be increased tenfold.
The reason transmog would be helpful, is that as it stands, it’s near lottery winning levels of impossible to ever see the mats needed to craft some of the really amazing looking low level gear (specifically Expedition themed stuff). By the time you’ll ever see the mats to craft even one piece, you’ve seriously outlevelled the gear.
And even if you do find the mats, its likely due to you helping lowbies run some early Expeditions.
I mean just look at this. I’ve ran Starstone over 20 times now, yet I can’t craft this. And why would I since I’m lvl 51?
Absolutely, just gotta bump this because I agree, transmog was a no brainer.

I’ve been doing a lot of mining lately, to the point that I got all the T3 mining gear. I’m slowly getting high enough to equip the T4 mining gear and just today donned the T4 shirt and…
I actually get the feeling they accidentally swapped the T3 and T4 shirts, it’s so disappointing. I went from having a shirt that made me feel like a professional miner to one that leaves me feeling like I’m a rough sleeper.
In any event, it wouldn’t really matter if I could’ve used the skin from my T3 shirt on the T4 one.
But I can’t, so it does. Sigh.

Agreed! A ton of the Legendary quality items in this game are using super basic skin types. Would be nice to change the look of your “loadout” to match the player’s avatar preferences instead of whatever skin was applied to a piece of gear upon drop.
Just copy Guild Wars 2 transmogsystem. Dyes are already ingame. But pls add black and white, too

1 They can add a store token that you can use on any in game item to turn it into transmog if they want.
2 The store items are still unique and if you like it you can still buy it.
Yes please copy WoW’s transmog system. That’s far superior to FF14.
I like that it’s unlimited and a lot easier to use. Plus automatic. No need to think about if you already have that piece or not because anything new is automatically added to the list.
