I am posting a video from back then, of Daoc the reason I post this is most people who play NW don’t know what Dark age of Camelot is

My problem with NW is, when I log into the game for around 3100 hours play time and I ran by the forts out in the world for the first time I was dreaming back of DaoC I was looking so much forward of pvp out there 24/7 but damn boy was I disappointed :frowning:

just going after some flags and we had to push for 2 hours … yet again a other disappointed now in NW the forts are empty never been using that much never see the faction chat been use like " we need help at fort " etc the faction chat is dead.

I know the graphics sucks in the video but it’s a game from 2001
the key point here is in NW we have some many forts that never are used big part of the map are just dead, the video I am showing are a relic raid. we had to steel a relic from one of the other factions we was the faction Hibernia we was the underdog of the server , but there a lot of other videos out there with pvp all the time

I don’t understand why NW have a lot of forts that are never used . Pushing PVE for 2 hours for content that is boring and not worth doing for the most players , I don’t understand why NW devs is not taking what is out there what works in the MMO history to make a better game for us

I am 99% sure if the fonts was use like DaoC then pvper be happy and i am sure some pves do the pvp as well

the forts back in daoc har NPC guards around there was a boss inside the front " make it so the boss drop a item in NW is this was made " Back in the days if a faction had most of the forts then a dungeon open only for that faction for 48 hours why not make something like that

my problem as a old school mmorpg player from 1997 and I played them all . I so sad that NW fonts are dead and are useless for most 99% of the players base . its content that can be made into so GOOD content for all both pvpers and pvers it, it really makes med sad that NW don’t see or are creative to make use of they game . and I am sad is kinda to late …

Soon we see other games coming out we see harry potter coming out " i know its a single player game " but a lot of players looking forward to it … then we have throne of liberty MMORPG coming out , and it’s going to be big . anyone is talking about it and then we have D4 in June my point is a lot of gaming coming out and a lot of players of NW will go hard down. Even wow have more content in NW in the Road map, that means that wow are keeping they players base for the most to D4 coming out but what do we get …

I am not impressed at NW road map at all… and I want the game to be good I want to play NW with good bug free content … but Good thing about NW is it’s not sub base but if throne of liberty is going to rock will we come back to NW ? for good or only for 13 days new content?

Never been a PVP game like it since! Great job posting the vid.

Keep in mind, top of the line vid cards were far inferior to now, and his graphics settings were as low as they could go. The game didn’t really look that bad! lol

thank you sir. I know what u are saying think about it if NW pvp was like that out in open world NW was saved and pvper are happy and coming back to the game and think if there was some loot at some NPC boss u have a lot of pves coming out trying pvp … I don’t see anyone out at the fonts now its dead content as it is now :confused: and I see no reason to be in a “big guild” 2 hours of pushing for 30 mins content of pvp . no thanks then i Go play arana or OPR for 3 hours before loging of

There really is no true purpose of factions in this game. Something, even if on a smaller scale, would really make a distinction.

Jesus Christ, this is why every freaking mmo ever made ever NEEDS the ability to turn off friendly player nameplates. Just 5 seconds of the first video made me want to claw my eyes out!

yes sir u are right again … me and my RL friends don’t see why to be part of the faction or big guilds at all . if we wanna pvp we sigh up for OPR that about it… PVPers are mad about no open world pvp … hey pvpers I just give u a fix to new world pvp

More like no point in company just have the factions act like one big company.

I dont think there will ever be an mmo i enjoy more than i did DAoC. The community was amazing. People would drop whatever they were doing to go defend against a raid.

I always hope there will be another Darkness falls. I loved that space in DAOC.
Especially as a nightstalker.

You know that ESO is pretty much the same system as DAoC and the combat/weapon swap is identical to this game. Maybe thats the game you really want to play?

We had a guy who’d answer the call via beeper back in Everquest to come train mobs onto enemy raids.

Except ESO gave up on PvP. At the start the PvP was great then they put in a patch (for lighting changes I think) and ever since then the game lags to the point where it killed PvP. They never could fix it and gave up.
